Re: TDL and TDR - April 19-25

Monday, April 20 - first day at TDL

Weather: somewhat cloudy and warm, but no rain

A glimpse of the Castle from the monorail

First stop - Becker's for a cheap breakfast

There's already a long line when we get to the TDL gates...it goes from here...

and continues...

all the way to way back there...this is 30 minutes prior to gate opening.

The crowd behind us as we wait for a Monsters FP...we had an even bigger crowd in front of us when we first got in line.

These photos were taken 3 minutes apart...

Score!

Neither have I and I was at the park yesterday!! While I find it to be cute, I have to say that I do NOT like the grafitti style heart on the column. I hope guests do not start getting ideas from this.. I would remove that aspect of the display.

TDLFAN, you haven't seen the Wall-E display??? Really? It's been there since the movie was released in Japan. It's between the Popping Pod and Pan Galactic Pizza Port.

Oh, nice report and pics by the way.

The hotel service was fantastic. I will be writing up a detailed review of the hotel in my trip report post, hopefully in a few days. But, all in all, I can say the Sheraton was a great value and we'd definitely stay there again.

Re: TDL and TDR - April 19-25

Monday, April 20 - TDL - continued

If only the flashlights really worked and we actually could play flashlight tag...sigh...

Loved all the jokes and stuff on the bulletin board in Monsters...I forget where it's located, though - Queue? Exit?

I had a lovely chat with my friend Mary and she just had to show off her new dress for the camera...

I couldn't get near Peter Pan - the Japanese girls love him.

A big crowd gathered around the bicycle piano man.

Tomorrowland definitely has that retro futuristic look

The theming in the Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall is top notch...

Even the light fixtures are beyond cool...

The Dreamlights Parade is awesome! My husband got most of it on film and I still get misty-eyed when I watch it.

The Castle looks pretty at night.

Hmm for some reason I thought we walked by it together one day and you took pictures of it. Didn't we do that during the 26th Anniversary day? :-)
