Zed Summer Festa @ Ikspiari!

The Zed Summer Festa at Ikspiari will run from 6/13 - 6/30! If you haven't tried Bar Rica Cervesa (the tapas bar that replaced It's Mono) then you might want to check it out now because they will have a special Zed inspired cocktail. At Celebration Plaza there will be three days of special entertainment including a special performance and photo session on 6/26 Fri. at 16:30 and photo sessions on 6/27 Sat. at 16:35 and 6/28 Sun. at 15:35.

There will also be special menu sets at the Ambassador Hotel which look very yummy!

I think this is also a good thread to annouce that a new L'Occitane shop has opened in front of Ikspiari, at the former location of that post office, closest to the TDR Welcome Center. So we can all start humudifying.

The new tapas bar is right next door to it too. The Zed show will also be getting a new show program booklet updated with pictures from the show and the CD should be out soon.

Thanks for the info Ichigopara, please let me know when the new program and cd are out- I'm looking forward to getting one & so are my friends who saw the show last March- BTW, they never did get the chance to return or give away the extra tickets.

So if anyone wanted to see what the show was like but was unable to make it I put a video up on youtube. There was a pretty nice crowd that day! I will put up pictures of some of the special menu items later if anyone wants too.

Thanks for the great photos- I, like Joe, have missed your photos of food & dessert offerings.

I've only seen a few other Cirque shows and aren't a big fan of them- Wintuk, which was ok & La Nouba- which bored me out of my mind and I thought was pretty crappy- but I loved Zed when I saw it. The music was even so much better than their other shows as well.

It goes to show that even Cirque du Soleil can put on a better show just due to the fact it's in TDR!!

I'm off to Vegas for a few days in Sept- may catch Ka out there- I'll see how it measures up to Zed.

Thanks for those photos, Ichigopara! The food offerings are always presented so well in Japan, they really outdo themselves in presentation. I like the costumes for this show too. Although, what is with those 2 girls and the giant Duffy...in an ugly dress? Cute picture of your son passed out...I guess waiting is tiring work, LOL!

You should see my bondage leather suited Duffy plush... my personal friends who have visited my Disney Room exhibit always get a huge laugh out of that one.

This entire thread is great, and if I could afford it right now, I'd go check out Zed. I had to comment, though, that this photo is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my whole life. That boy's got "pop star/supermodel" written all over him. He's almost as cute as Duffy! How lucky for you that, with the right agent, your child will be able to practically pay for himself!
