"Celebrate With Us" from the TDL countdown parades

Hi, guys. I’m making a plea for help. I’ve been looking for this song for a LONG time but I just can’t find it anywhere.

Does anyone know where I can find a recording of “Celebrate With Us” from TDL’s countdown parades? I'm looking for the version from 2002-present. The versions before 2002 had awful Japanese/Engrish vocals and the newer version was probably rerecorded by David Wise, Michelle Lindahl, Michelle Amato among others. The harmonies are awesome! Any ideas on where I can find a recording? You have no idea how much I appreciate your help!!!!

Those are three great vocalists. They actually sang that song you're looking for? Have you tried to contact them? I've gotten very lucky contacting people involved in various Disney Music projects. I find their name in the CD liner notes and get their contact information online. Then I send them a compliment on a particular song I like. They are usually very kind and reply with some nice words.

Hey, again! I do know David but he's been very busy lately and hasn't been able to locate it. It sure would be nice to know the composer! I'm guessing it's probably Gordon Goodwin, (upbeat, unique chord progressions, GREAT vocal harmonies, more symphonic than synthesized like Jonathan Barr) but that's just my guess.

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this awesome song!

Sounds like the first one is a demo copy, while the 2nd one appears to have been recorded off the parade in progress... I will have to listen to my Millenium cd's from TDL and see..

Yes, the first version I just spliced from my Millineum TDL parade CD and the other one I spliced from an online video I found of the TDL countdown parade 2004.

IIRC each version played in Tokyo the last few years has included Japanese vocals too. A few of my Japanese friends also confirmed that there is no commercial release of the newer track. Nor have they heard of a clean/master copy out there. And these people have tons of material from the Parks. Good luck.

Probaby Not - The OLC is known to make Micheal Eisner Look like a saint in the HR department.

They do give rehearsal CD's (or MD's) to performers who have lead singing roles. For regular dancers and performers, they don't generally give them rehearsal media. There are no performers in these parades that have lead singing roles. In fact, most of the CM's only have a couple of weeks of practice for this parade.

And I wholeheartedly agree with drmilescrane's assessment of OLC's HR deparment.

That's REALLY too bad. "Celebrate With Us" is AWESOME!!!! I hope they start releasing the Countdown Parade's again. Those are some of my favorite tracks.

Okay, so I’m not going to give up until I find this song. It’s consuming my life!!!!!

Though it may seem to be a lost cause, would anyone have ANY suggestions on how to locate a copy? I would really appreciate any and all help. THANKS!!!!
