Artwork?

I can't remember from my trip a few years ago. Does TDR sell artwork, posters, and such like the stateside Disney Resorts do? I'm redecorating and would love to put some TDR artwork in my new place, if I can get a hold of it somehow. That is, if it even exists.

Some of TDR's artwork have been sold before at their Disney Gallery store... if I recall, during their 20th anniversary year. However, I have not seen any posters or the like being sold at TDR in the recent years. In fact, what they have been selling is artwork or photography intended for WDW, but they have slaped the TDR name on it, so that does not make it original to the tokyo park. Sorry, but I wish I could help better.

Come to think of it, I've only seen original paintings available in the Disney Gallery in World Bazaar at Tokyo Disneyland. They were pretty expensive and mostly US imports based on Disney animation generally, not specific to TDR. There are, time to time, wall hangings, too, and other kinds of room furnishings. Some of the wall hangings are "kinda" big, but not really "poster" size. A lot of the other room furnishings are very nice, though, and they change pretty regularly, so you can feel confident that you're buying something "special" to take back from your trip.

I called Guest Relations, just to check, and the CM I spoke with confirmed that the Disney Gallery and original paintings are the closest thing she knows of. Hope that helps!

They used to sell lithos in the Disney Gallery in Tokyo. No longer. However there is an ex-imagineer selling lithos on eBay right now. Just search for "Ryman" and you will find it right away.
