It's still not complete, but there's a lot more now.

I wonder where they will run the lottery if they have one- Did they ever use the lottery system before in TDS??

The link Fukai posted confirms the lottery and has a little better description of the show. It looks like treat or treating is back too!


Show: Mysterious Masquerade
Mickey and his friends were invited to a dance party held at the American Water Front Park. The party hall was decorated with the arts that were stolen from all over the world by Harison Hightower, which brings some spooky atmosphere to the stage. Because of Donald, ghosts who were kept in those arts reveals themselves on the stage and turns Disney characters into ghosts. What are the ghosts trying to accomplish by doing such thing? And can Disney characters be back to normal again? Please join this gorgeous yet little spooky masquerade dance party with all of your family together.

How come there are no events at the TDL Hotel?

Traditionally, only the Ambassador hotel has Halloween restaurant events (a collectible is given away or sold for a small price when you eat a set meal).

They haven't used the lottery before but it will be next to Gondolier snacks.

It's August 26th and the TDL Halloween portion of the website still hasn't expanded much. Don't they usually have many pages up by now with pictures of the kiosks and their new offerings for the event, merchandise, and so on? They seem to be moving much more slowly in rolling out their promotion. Or am I misremembering?

At the bottom of the 'how to dance' page there were too links that seem to go to the official Halloween sites for each park. Is this what you are waiting for?

....and what will we get at WDW this year? The same old crappy MNSSHP, with nothing new to offer this year and worst, where guests attending have to pay an extra admission price to enjoy the party! No wonder why I am so negative about the WDW resort as a whole.

Yeah, that "extra admission" part really strikes me as pretty outrageous. Is there any kind of justification for it?

NO, there is no justification, unless making money out of something that should be a part of the regular entertainment is justified, but it's not so in my book. TDL alone offers much more decor and entertainment for Halloween *daily* at regular prices, over what WDW charges guests to see and do in just a few hours on *some* nights in sept and oct.
And it's not cheap eather.. as an adult ticket for a party that lasts from 7pm till midnight will set you back $59 plus tax! A day admission to TDL during the halloween days is just a few cents above that party price!!! It's armed robbery if you ask me!!!
