Mary Blair at TDL

Just a quick news item....
Currently, there is a Mary Blair exhibit in one of Tokyo's Art Museums or Intitutes.. however at TDL, there is also a small exhibit at the castle's former entrance into the Mystery Tour.. explaining Mary Blair's role in designing artwork for some Disney movies, as well as the ever popular IASW ride. It's a small poster-like tribute but really informative. Nearby, the Airstocats gift shop is selling specialty merchandise featuring Mary Blair's artwork.. It's very unique stuff and great collector merchandise for any Disney artwork afficionado.
Anyone visiting TDL now a days should check it out.

wow, i'll be there on monday when hopefully there are a bit less crowds, today at TDL was CRAAAAZZZYYY!

I just picked up a flyer for the Japaneses exhibit at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco (the museum helped put together the show). They are right by the front door as you enter. Of course you should also check out the exhibit "Once Upon a Dream: the art of Sleeping Beauty" and the awesome bookstore.

Any pictures of the merchandise?

I will hope to put up merchandise pics later this week if I have the time since I am going to be home for only a couple of days before returning to Tokyo. But I will try... can't promise. BTW, my camera broke yesterday so now I have to get a new camera somtime soon...

Well.. all of the TDR merchandise is cute, as opposed to "cheap" which describes the merchandise at the USA parks.

Oh good, check that (totally unrelated to Micechat) foreign site. That relieves me from posting the 100 or so pictures I took of the merchandise. Thanks for giving me a break. Maybe you could also post photos from the current HKDL merchandise as well... so I don't have to do it.
