Compass of Your Heart is sung by Japanese stage actor Kenji Sakamoto. He is part of the Atelier Duncan talent group and is currently in Tokyo performing as "Enjolras" in Les Miserables. Sakamoto has also played "Doormat" onstage in Beauty and the Beast and "Simba" in the original cast of The Lion King.

Thanks for information! I really loved the music of the attraction! (and the attraction itself too)

It's a great song, sung well, with a terrific orchestration and it really improves the ride. I wish the Japanese would embrace the attraction since I would hate to see it go away (which it will sometime in the next decade since they'll need that big chunk of land for a new attraction that actually attracts people).

I would assume that removing it would be an absolute last resort considering the amount of money they spent on it. Not only is there suitable land elsewhere for expansion, but the cost of demolishing the attraction and building another major E-ticket would probably be astronomical. It is a shame that it is not very popular even after this change. I wonder just how many riders it sees in a day.

It really bums me out that Sinbad doesn't draw large crowds. It's one of my favorite Disney rides anywhere, and I rode it at least three times in my day at TDS. Oh, and once another night.

It sees very few riders in a day, and there is already a foundation and show building there. It would cost far less to gut it, keep the building, and build a new ride inside the existing structure than start from zero elsewhere (and while there are one or two other plots to build on in DisneySea, there are not many).

Ah, I see. Could they not negotiate with one of the Official Hotels for the parking lot space right behind Lost River Delta? I'm not sure who actually owns that land, but they could build a parking structure elsewhere to make up for the lost parking area and save a lot of space.

But in any case, they will probably replace Sindbad with a thrill ride or something Aladdin based if they truly have to go that route.

The parking lot properties right behind Lost River Delta, TDR R2 (along TDL's southern side) and TDR R3 (next to the Sheraton Hotel), are both owned by OLC. However, the street in between LRD and R3 is city property.

Thanks for the information Joe. Does this mean that a negotiation would not be possible? That is a lot of land and though they would probably not extend too close to the Official Hotels, there is substantial space for at least a couple of attractions.

Personally I'm sad that it doesn't draw large crowds but at the same time it was great because I could ride it whenever I wanted and not have to wait more than 10 minutes to get in! I love this ride so much.
