List of all the different outfits for Duffy?

I went to Tokyo Disney a few years back with my dad and bought Duffy along with a few outfits. Recently, having seen the "Disney Bear" back in Disney World (as I go every year), it made me want to look up more outfits for Duffy wondering if the outfits and things would ever make it over here.

Looking through (and wishing that I could find the outfits besides on Yahoo Japan), I've seen several I like and started to wonder just how many different ones there are, so does anyone have a list (or even better, pictures) of all the different outfits?

Any help would be great~

Wow...this is a tough thing! There have been SO many costumes for him, it's pretty daunting to list them all and have images. When I looked into it, I found that he has over 40 costumes at this point. I'll see if I can put together something, but I can't promise anything.

Yeah, I expected there to be a lot of different ones, but I figured if at least everyone knew just a few, we could all get some kind of list together (And good references for the future is always a plus)

But yes, if pictures are too much, there can always be descriptions as well.

The below was posted by DuffyDad several months ago in another forum- it's all in Japanese, but if you click around enough on the second group, you will find many of his outfits- but you have to click on each one- Hope this helps:

This site shows a lot of Duffy's costumes from TDS. The official TDS costumes are the second group, ディズニーシー (DisneySea). The first group, marked ディズニー (Disney), are Disney character costumes, mostly from Build-A-Bear, probably US. The last group, その他 (Others), features Duffy in various assorted costumes, also mostly from Build-A-Bear.

Oh wow. Thanks so much! I'm not looking too much in the Build-a-Bear stuff (I live in NY so I usually just go to the shop in Manhattan if I want to really go Build-a-Bear clothes shopping XD), but definitely looking forward to seeing a lot of the outfits. I bought all the ones that were for sale when I went to Tokyo Disney a few years ago so I'm looking forward to this~

Edit: Woo, looks like out of those listed on that site, it seems I mostly just want some of the newer ones.

Oh, I forgot about that site. It's very comprehensive, and should list everything.

I really wish I could have gotten all of the TDS 5th Anniversary costumes.

I think 2006 for the 5th Anniversary was the first time they sold costumes separately from the bear, right? Previously, they released different Duffy's with costumes already on, so you had to buy a brand new bear each time.

does anyone know of a site (in english hopefully) that may be selling some of the 25th anniversary outfits? i've seen a Yahoo site (i think) when i was in japan that ppl sell/auction duffy stuff on, but my reading of japanese is even less than my very minimal speaking , but i LOVE the haunted mansion outfit!

any & all help greatly appreciated!

No, I don't think there is one, I've also looked. I wanted last year's cute Halloween sailor outfit, but I haven't found a site selling outside of Japan. And, Yahoo Auctions Japan opened an English site, but it's actually being discontinued...so, there goes that option.

Once in a while somebody will sell one of the new costumes on Ebay, but it's very rare, and usually extremely expensive. I haven't seen any of the older costumes show up though...

There are bidding sites to bid on Yahoo! Japan ( Japamart: Yahoo Japan Auction Bidding & Shopping Deputy Service -Anime,Games,Toys and anything and Rinkya - Japan Auction & Shopping Service - Japanese, Anime, Car Parts, Dolls, Robots, & Much More are some notable ones) for you, and while helpful, it can usually turn out making your item even more ridiculously expensive :/ As you have to pay shipping twice (Once to get to the company and again to get to you--even if the user ships internationally) and you have to pay commission fees. I bought 3 tiny little charms (maybe each one about half an inch tall)--they were 6 dollars for all 3...commission fees and shipping? 50-60 dollars. Let's say I was far from happy. The charms are wonderful though.

On the otherhand, sometimes you can get really good deals--like I bought a doll off the site for about 400 dollars or so. The doll is worth over 1,000 dollars but sold for cheap as it's hair was slightly trimmed (so it wasn't all over the floor--not too big of a deal IMO). Even though all the costs made her about 650 dollars or so, that's her average price, so 650 shipped is pretty awesome.

I've actually been looking through Yahoo! Japan since I made this thread (and have been wondering the same thing as you, black cat, so thanks for asking XD) and noticed that besides costumes, they also sell a lot of home-made things for Duffy too which is pretty neat.

I would recommend, if you decide to go with a bidding site, try getting multiple things. In the end, it's probably more helpful to you at least on the overly big shipping costs x-x

Yeah, those bidding sites can be problematic if you're getting cheap things. Also, you need to anticipate how much you think the item will go for, or are willing to pay. Basically, they will bid for you based on how much you give them. Then, like Wondering says, you pay shipping twice. It's not an ideal situation, but so far, seems to be the only way now that there will not be an English version of Yahoo auctions.

It's a shame there really isn't any other way :/ Not to mention most of those who sell on Yahoo! Japan will only ship to Japan over internationally either way.

For all the Duffy fans (now, including me), the latest Duffy goods is on the TDR website. The goods includes the latest costume and the Christmas Duffy, that DuffyDad mentioned in another thread, is also on the TDR website. Keeping with Valentines 2009 and this year's Halloween, there is also a Christmas Duffy special menu including a Christmas souvenir pudding cup and Christmas souvenir plate!

Oh, wow. Thanks so much I love the new Christmas outfit *adds to her list* Making a total of 14 costumes I want--not too bad and I believe most of them are newer rather than older (I guess it helps that I have the Pirate Costume and the Purple and Orange wizard costume).

And the items on the menu look so cute <3

Thanks for the update! I have to say, that Christmas costume is very adorable! I need that. I love the special Christmas Duffy...I'm not sure I want to pay for another bear, but he's wearing the Candlelight Reflections costume...I may have to break down and get him...if he's not sold out on day one, LOL! I think this holiday season I'll be lucky to take what I can get.

Thanks for the links, I checked out all the other Christmas stuff as well- This years Duffy Santa suit is not too cheap 4800yen. My clothes cost less than that. But it is nice & I'll probably wind up getting it since I have nothing to dress him in for Christmas & it's a lot nicer than any of the build a bear stuff.
