Tower of Terror, coming 2006

Most of us already know TDS will be receiving Tower of Terror, but with a few minor changes. The attraction will not have the theme of Twilight Zone because it is rarely heard of in that area of the world. Enjoy

I have written out the complete story of TDS Tower of Terror theme in my own words and here it is:

The story of this attraction goes a little something like this: A grand party was held at the hotel of Orville Tower, also owner of cruise liner the S.S. Columbia. The next day the ship set sail on its maiden voyage but that night horror struck. A humongous lightning bolt struck the cruise liner, forcing it to sink to the bottom of the sea. Everyone on that cruise ship that night, including Mr. Tower, vanished and were never seen again.

Now the ghosts have relocated themselves to the last place they enjoyed the most, Mr. Towers hotel on the American Waterfront. The hotel is now open to anyone who dares to relive the past events of the poorly deceased ghosts. But beware, digging up the horrible past may ruin the future…in a “screamfully” horrible way

Fantastic. This one I'm interested in. Does anyone have pics of the coaster being built next to Indy at TDS? They call it raging spirits or something like that.

Thank you for the explanation of the storyline. I was just saying to myself, what does ToT have to do with the ocean theme here??? Now I get it.

Wow! What concept art! I love the look of the hotel, and the glass in front of the elevators. It seems that they've killed the "Dissapering wings" stoyline, and have gone for a new, Twilight Zone-less approach. I love the look of the hotel!

A big difference for the Tokyo version is that there are only broken, stained glass windows visable from the outside. This is because the Japanese aren't very inclined to enter into a building that looks "unsafe". Hence, the partially destroyed look of the other two TOT's wouldn't go over well in Japan. They opted for something more subtle.
