Anime Style Commercial for Tokyo Disney Resort

About Tokyo Disney Resort | | character introduction where dreams come true TVCM Tokyo Disney Resort

The commercial story is about the phases of life of (rough translation) Yumeno Maihama enjoying the Tokyo Disney Resort with a rendition of Cinderella's "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" playing in the background

Edit: Maihama is the name of the rail station and neighborhood that is the entry point for the Tokyo Disney Resort.

Cute commercial. I enjoyed seeing a Disney Park in animation.

Edit: I knew there was a Stitch show in Japan, I just did not know that he went to Tokyo Disney in an episode.

Man, I teared up, too... that's a very nostalgic version w/ the uke playing in the back.

BTW. "Yumeno" is a pun for "of the dream" or "field of dreams". It's written in hiragana to keep that ambiguous.

What a wonderful TV spot! I wish more Disney commercial would be like that. It's so much better than anything DLRP did in recent years.

So touching and beautiful. Most TDR commercials are so. They're full of meaning than just some ads. Love it!

Incredibly adorable and so touching. Such a sweet story.

If you look closely when they get their picture taken on Splash Mountain you'll see a hidden Mickey. I also noticed they never showed the man's face.

Boy. Not only does OLC need to run Disney's parks, they need to take over thier marketing too. In 30 seconds, they managed to get out a whole slew of emotions and emotional responses and make it feel real.

And at no point was anyone yelling at us about "MAGICWISHESHOPECHILDRENDREAMSMAGICMAGICMAGIC" like we get here. It was just sweet and real. Somewhere, that sums up someone's life. And for many of us, at least one part of that commercial relates to our lives. Disney magic without having to throw it down out throats.

Y'know, I was spending that whole episode waiting for him to sing a song in the Enchanted Tiki Room.
