Your pictures are awesome! I'm getting ready to book our trip for Christmas and I'm more excited now (which I didn't think was possible).

Thanks. We did the Standard Course. I think the Expert Course would have been too much judging by the maps I saw of those attempting it. We ended up getting the special surprise egg with Mickey and the teal colored strap.

Hopefuly I will get more photos up this weekend.

The expert course is near impossible to complete unless you can read Japanese and know the park very well.

I say near because you could just happen to get lucky and stumble upon the one egg that is the most difficult to find without looking for it.

There are 5 hints written in Japanese that IMO are essential to finding most of the eggs. One hint in particular is so critical, that you could spend all day looking for the corresponding egg and never find it.

If anyone is seriously going to attempt the expert course and can't read Japanese, I would suggest you find a CM fluent in English that can translate it properly for you. Broken English or Japanglish won't cut it if you ask me. I would go to Guest Relations and make a request for such help and see if they can accommodate you.

Those of you who might have completed the expert course will probably agree with me on this assessment.

Re: Pinch me! I actually tgoing to Japan & Tokyo Disney. Carmen's Trip Report - May 2

My original plan was to hit TDS first since I wanted to see the park so badly but with the published refurbishment schedule we did TDL first. Well the day to see TDS finally arrived and so did a cloudy, light rainy (we hoped) all day type of day. We figured it was a park built around water so what was a little more.

As many before me have mentioned, TDS is an inspiring and awesome place. From the moment you walk into the park you know it is different. It just "feels" special from the get go. And it was exciting to be able to explore a completely new park. The entry plaza and water globe work so well as does the walkway under the hotel to your first view of Mt Prometheus. Just amazing. And with Spring Voyage with Mickey and Duffy in progress the little extra touches of flowers and theming made it even better.

We endured the wet day but were later blessed with great weather the following two days when we hopped from park to park so you'll see photos of sun and no rain mixed in. Now on to the Sea!

Looking good! Seeing all your photos makes me want to go back! I think this next time though, we'll try a different time of year so we can see different decorations. All the Easter decorations look fun! Not sure if I want to do that or Christmas...

Are you going to post your photos from the rest of your trip around Japan?

We really loved the chance to see the parks during the Easter Celebration. The decorations and theming really were awesome. I am not sure if I would choose Halloween or Christmas. May have to go back twice!!! And yes, I have more to post from our trip. I just need to do some editing and sorting first.

Here are some more photos I have been meaning to upload. Been kinda busy lately to get to it. Once I got to TDR I noticed how cool the theming of the rest room signs were around the parks so I started to snap photos of as many of them as I could. I know I got some strange stares from folks as I was taking pictures of the Womens/Ladies room signs but hey, I was a foreign tourist. Hope you enjoy them. I really think it shows even more how TDR & OLC take themeing to the best level.

Mosaic513, so far I've been quietly enjoying your report, but I just had to post after seeing the bathroom signs. Fabulous! My goodness, I think I only saw half of those when we visited. Yet another reason to return!

Those cast member photos also really make me long for Japan. The uniforms throughout the country were worn so proudly and everyone was so helpful and friendly and...maybe it isn't too soon to start planning our next trip even if it will be years away!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.
