Now just what would a trip to Tokyo Disneyland cost compared to Paris?
Assume on site(Hilton Tokyo vs Yacht Club or sim.) for 3 nights, 3 squares, park admission, airport transportation and of course airfare:
Well, I visited both of those parks this year and I don't remember Tokyo being much more expensive than Paris. I stayed at one of the monorail hotels in Tokyo and it was cheaper than the hotel that Mamabot and I stayed at WDW in florida.
The airfare would be higher I'm sure, but the rest won't be so bad.
MiceChat 101: Be NICE! If you don't play well with others, you are in the wrong sandbox.
I went to Tokyo last year and had the time of my life. INCREDIBLE PARKS.
Tokyo was not as expensive as I feared. If you are used to staying onsite at WDW Tokyo's pricing is far less expensive. Tokyo is cheaper for Americans to visit than Paris or London, what with the value of the dollar.
I hope everyone here gets a chance to visit Tokyo Disney sooner or later, you won't be disappointed. I am already saving money for my next trip.
I may just visit TDS this year, its actually closer to Tokyo than Orlando from where I live, its 5200 miles and a 13 hour trip *actually about 9 hours flying I think. Thats ftom Anchorage, course getting a direct flight from ANC to Tokyo may be pricey as its usually cheaper to fly out of Seattle.
But I think it would be worth it, the culture, the quality, the pristine parks and use of cutting edge technolgy. I usually visit WDW every other year and stay there 2-4 weeks, have not been to DL as its a totally bad deal for the dollar with its recent history, maybe that will become better soon now that there is better leadership.
