Also on the 10/29 the Minnie float of the Scream and Shout parade broke down and had to be carried to the back by a vehicle.Deep Disney have pics of that as well ミニーフロート

Wow...I'm glad they weren't hurt or anything. Must have been a funny sight as I heard laughter in the background. It was sort of funny when he started swimming towards his jet ski.

Thanks for posring this... even if for some reason I can't make the video play. This is the first time I hear of a performing falling into the water on the show. Hope he is OK.

As for the float breaking during the parade... this is the very first time I hear of a float breaking donw during the parade in almost 17 yrs since I am visiting TDR. Of course, I am sure it has happened before, but first time I see it documented.

Ooh, not that falling off of a jetski isn't scary (it's happened to me at almost 50 mph, not recommended) but when I saw this thread I was thinking "oh no, the water goddess fell off her pedastal and got really hurt". That would've been really scary to see, glad everything is ok.

I'm actually surprised that the guy didn't get hurt. I always thought the water level was quite low and that a lot of metalwork were hidden under the water. Guess I was wrong as the water looks deep enough to swim in.

Well for safety reasons for the performers the water would pretty much HAVE to be deep enough to take a spill in as safe as possible and swimmable wouldn't you think?

Wow, floats breaking down in shows...seems as if the golden park is slipping into WDI standards. Maybe they can clone a few more attractions and it'll be just another park.

I'm pretty sure these are rare occurances though. Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea still beat the other Disney parks (with the possible exception of Disneyland) by far! I'm not sure what you meant with that cloning remark. The attractions aren't the highlight at Toyko DisneySea. Instead, it is the phenomenal theming and magnificent attention to detail that makes it so successful.

I know, just busting some chops. We rarely have the oppertunity to rag on the Tokyo parks, so I had to jump on the chance.

    Re: Accident at Mythica show

polygonaut thanks for the links, hope you don't mind but I posted them at another forum but credited you.How difficult must it be for the Goofy performer to swim around in water like that with that suit on.

I imagine the water is deep enough to allow all the water floats access to the harbour plus hide all the stuff like the dragon thats used in BraviSEAmo.Problem is the fact the waters dyed makes it difficult to work out how deep the actual lagoon is.But what we do know is that its deep enough to swim in.

Aparently situations like these and more serious ones happen all the time, sadly through we never get to hear about them.
