New Fortress Exploration Maps

Just an FYI for those interested on TDS...

Newly redesigned guidemaps for Fortress Explorations have been placed in the guide holders at the entrance to the fortress. There are 4 different "activity" maps available that explain to guests what kind of fun activities they can pursue while visiting the Fortress. So check those things out when you visit TDS next time, and give yourself time...as Fortress Explorations can take quite a while to enjoy if you feel like immersing yourself here. And yes, the activity maps are bilingual, so you can enjoy the fun things there are to be done as you discover Fortress Explorations' hidden stories and games.

As I mentioned, there are 4 different types of these maps.

And they don't have these kind of "For Fun Scavenger Hunts" at any other park, why again? From that example alone, I can see this being put into effect in other parks like DAK and even in some parts of DCA.

Thanks for the update, TDLFAN. I still regret not visiting the Fortress Explorations when I went to TDS a few years ago, but as I only had a single day in the park, something had to be left off the itinerary!
If ever they demolish Autopia in Paris, I'd love to see an updated Fortress built in its place. It suits the Discoveryland theme perfectly.

I enjoyed the fortress exploration... I didnt take a map, I just walked through the entire thing, and discovered each little puzzle. It was fun, and it had some nice views of the park.

Fortress Explorations is one of the hidden (in plain sight) treasures of TDS. I still have my map from when I visited in 2003! Good times indeed.
