![]() | Re: Hotel MiraCosta Tribute Website The Hotel MiraCosta is by far the best Disney hotel. In fact, no other hotel has matched the experience of the Hotel MiraCosta for me and probably never will.

![]() | Re: Hotel MiraCosta Tribute Website It really does look amazing. You'd think the American execs would want some of this, if only to save their egos. I mean honestly, first they take over the car industry... |

![]() | Re: Hotel MiraCosta Tribute Website It's probably been covered elsewhere, but does anyone have any tips for someone interested in booking a room? For example, how far in advance should one book? Is the price listed on the website based on single occupancy? Or is there an additional charge for an extra occupant? I'll be visiting in November and *may* book a room for a night. It's pretty steep at close to 60000 yen for one night in harbour view room. |

![]() | Re: Hotel MiraCosta Tribute Website TDR_Fan is probably the most experienced in this but: - the best way to book a room is by calling the reservation line directly. - book from 6-months in advance, you can always change/cancel reservations later. I've booked one day in advance and have gotten a harbor-view room, but then again, I live here. ![]() - most of the room prices are for 2-4 people. There is additional charge for more. - November is part of the peak-season since it is during the Christmas events. JoeInJpn http://www.jtcent.com

I would definitely book exactly 6 months before your arrival date. I recommend that you call exactly as the reservation center opens, or you'll be put on hold for hours. I booked a room for mid-July, which is considered a peak period by their standards though. You'll probably have an easier time making a reservation. I tried booking exactly 6 months before and couldn't get a Harbor View room; I had to call back numerous times before somebody cancelled. Last year, I reserved a room for 4 people and they did not charge me extra. However, they'll force you to book an extra room if you have more than 2 adults in your group (which is what I had to do). There's an option to add an extra bed, but I believe that's seldom available (it wasn't when I asked about it). And even if it is, the room has to be large enough to support an extra bed. I highly recommend that you make a reservation here, especially in a Harbor View room. It's completely worth it in my opinion. Be lucky you're not paying peak rates like I am. For a total of 5 nights (counting only my hotel room), I'm shelling out 413,000 yen for a one night stay in the Harbor Room (Harbor View), a two night stay in the Balcony Room, and a two night stay in a Harbor View superior room. I'm looking forward to sampling the different Harbor Views in the hotel.
