This year's anniversary featured an array of special presents, souvenirs and theme merchandise. On April 15th, the Park celebrated 24 years since opening in 1983. The theme chosen this year was "Toontown-ish" as Mickey is shown in caricature wearing his classic tuxedo costume.

Does this park celebrate it's anniversary every year? I would think they would make special merchandise next year.
I believe special merchadise is available every year for all anniversary's but only on that day.Unless its a special Anniversary like next years 25th where the merchadise will be everywhere for that entire year.Like the current TDS 5th Anniversary stuff.

YES, TDL and TDS always celebrate their anniversaries with special merchandise and special events *EVERY* year. Unlike what WDC does with it's other parks. WDW for example has not celebrated it's annivrsary since the 25th in 1996, instead yielding to other marketing crap like 100 yrs of magic and Million Dreams.Originally Posted by NickCharles
INCORRECT. The anniversary merchandise usually premieres a couple of days before the big day and stays on the shelf until all of it is sold out. Depending on how popular it is with guests.. that could take 2--6 weeks. You will probably have some of this stuff on sale for the next few weeks at te very least.
And as a result, failed to actually celebrate Epcot's 25th in any respectible fashion.
^^All MK got for it's 35th was a lousy pin.
At least we got a nice 24th anniversary pin at TDL
