    Monsters Inc.

I've forgotten what this ride is being built like. Is it just a high-tech dark ride? I can't see it being anything more than that.

Still better than what WDW got, Monsters Inc. wise.

It's going to be like Midway Mania, only monsters inc themed instead of toy story.. and instead of using the guns to play games i think you use them to discover scenes

And I also believe it's going to be more 3D AAs than just all digital projections like we are getting with Toy Story Mania.

From the concept art I've seen you will be given flash lights and you need to shine them at things to collect points. But not sure if your supposed to shine them at the monsters or if your looking for Boo from the movie.

Funny you bring up that silly magazine.. since their owners have been very negative about TDR in their opinions... and they would be the last magazine I would trust with regards to info on TDR.

    Re: Monsters Inc.

I've always found the coverage of the Tokyo Disney Resort to be fair and balanced in that magazine part of the reason I always read it.Obviously because the writers are given access to speak with WDI on a regular basis it does lead the publication to be a bit pro Disney at times, but all the interviews with Imagineers that the magazine has done in the past have always been worth a read. What ever personal issues the writers have with the Tokyo Disney Resort don't ever stem over in to the magazine.I'm going to be very interested to see what info is revealed about the new Monsters Inc attraction.

It sucks that even TDL can't escape Pixar. At least they are dumping Pixar there instead of TDS.

Escape Pixar??? You mean escape Disney? While I am not fond of the slapping Monsters Inc. in Tomorrowland it is a new attraction.

I have nothing but respect for the man, who as far as I know, has nothing to do with the Tales Magazine's editorials or articles, or even ownership of the rag.

    Re: Monsters Inc.

Doobie is often a contributor to the magazine and him and his wife Rebekah are given the title roles of Executive Editors. How much involvement the two actually have within the Magazine concept I don't know, but if I'm allowing it to be sold through my website and advertised on my website plus giving them the rights to use my website name I think its a safe bet Doobie must have some sort of say in the publishing process. It wouldn't suprised me if Disney reviewed the magazine also before it hitting the printers, seeing how much involvement Disney has within the magazine by allowing Lee to talk to all these Imagineers all the time.

    Re: Monsters Inc.

I just don't understand this constant hate for all things Pixar. Pixar is Disney, so it would be like someone complaining that Fantasyland couldn't escape from animated cartoon rides. I do have a problem with them being plastered into tomorrowland, but not the fact that they're Disney-Pixar productions.

It comes from the want to see more animated films that are hand drawn. The last chance for that is probably going to be Enchanted or The Frog Princess, provided they go over well with the contemporary audiance who have been exposed to and are slowly adapting and accepting CGI as the new "cartoon" with films like Shrek and Toy Story burning the path.
