Disturbed by Halloween image

I've just been checking out the Halloween site and have come across a image of what apears to be gravestones for popular characters Chip & Dale.I just wanted to get your throughts on this!

What are they doing? I see the picture down at the lower left hand side of the screen, but the picture's to small to make anything out.

Its a pic of Chip & Dale's headstones just poking out the ground while a ghost scares Donald.I just wanted to know if people found the throught of character headstones a bit off putting or not.As it gives the impression the two are dead.

Not gravestones but singing busts. After all the theme is the Haunted Mansion.There are four pedestals with one of them being taken by a ghost.Maybe they will do some sort of projection on the statues at night.

I love how Donald has cool hair wig on.

I bet Donald just snapped. And who can blame him? He put up with their incessant harassment for years.

Seriously though, it doesn't bother me too much. With the decoration (the characters' faces), I see the headstones almost as "costumes." I think I'd be more disturbed if they were simply unadorned slabs with the words "Chip" and "Dale" carved on them.

AtomicBear has it correct. Remember the theming for this year's Halloween is the Haunted Mansion. Chip & Dale appear as the singing busts. If you look closer, it's their whole body, not just the upper part.

Personally the images don't bother me,but I just wanted to see if anyone else had a problem.I see it like the Walt wearing the grass skirt thing a few months back,you know it being played out for laughs.But some had a problem with it being done as people didn't want to see Walt used in this way.And I wanted to know if people would feel any differnt about seeing 2 beloved characters being used in this way.But seeing as there supposed to be the singing Bust from the attraction the images do look quite promising.OLC is going all out with the Haunted Mansion theme this year and I'm loving it.

It was part of the Find Stitch event they had a few months ago. To fit in with the Hawaiian theme, Walt and Mickey both wore a grass skirt. Don't worry, it was only temporary.

Anyway, I like Chip & Dale as the singing busts. Should be a fun photo spot.

TPing the castle is hilarious. Skirts are just kind of weird.

I like them as singing busts. I can't wait to see a real photo of them!
