Yay! Miracosta here we come (well in 6 months anyways)

Thanks for the help TDR_Fan with booking Miracosta (when to call our time and hotel info). I called yesterday but they didn't have an english speaking person working yesterday so they asked me to call today. I just called and while they were all out of the Partial View Rooms for 41000yen they did have the tuscany side rooms for 41000yen. Yippee. My parents will stay at the Palm and Fountain most likely unless I can find a really good deal at one of the closer ones. Thanks, I am so excited!!!!!

Congratulations! I'm sure you will enjoy the hotel as much as I did my first trip. The Tuscany Side rooms still offer a very decent view; either of the lovely and relaxing Roman themed grounds of the hotel, or of the DisneySea Plaza with the AquaSphere. I prefer the latter, as I simply adore the AquaSphere background music they play all day long. You can just open a window and sit there, listening to the majestic daytime version or the tranquil and soothing nighttime version.

I've always wondered what time the music changes. Is it set up to change at a certain time each night or does it change all year round depending on when it gets dark.

From my experience, the music changes between 4:30 and 5:00 each afternoon. The Daytime music fades out and the Nighttime music fades in.

Hey MKKplus2 i'm in a tuscan room on my next trip i'll try to remember to take some pictures of the view. I'm hoping for an Aquasphere view...

does any one know if i can request that ????

And then all background music gets turned off around 11:30 p.m, followed by the lights I believe. The background music restarts in the morning, I think an hour or two before park opening. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, as I always woke up after the music had already started.

You can try to request, but may not be able to if they are fully booked. You definitely cannot specify when you are booking. Here is what the view from my Tuscany Side room loked like, taken last year.

We're pretty excited...any view would be great although I think I too would enjoy the Aquasphere view. This past Disneyland trip we took about 500 pictures and we've taken my daughter to Disneyland 4 times already. I cannot imagine how many pictures we'll end up taking when we go to Tokyo Disneyland.
Looking forward to more pictures steamboat will (and maybe short review on how great it was for you as well).
