    Parks Busy

I've just had a look at Deep Disney to see what wait times are being posted at both parks today. I visited on a holiday weekend and don't recall lines being this bad, especially at TDS. A 210 minute wait for the Haunted Mansion, 55 minute wait for Sinbad, 170 minute wait for Tower of Terror. Its good to see the parks so busy but is there a reason for this?

After checking out the schedule and calender section on http://www.jtcent.com which is a great source to gather information on before your trip I see that tomorrow is a National Holiday Sports (Health) Day http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_and_Sports_Day

Almost 3 hours for TOT !!!! seems OLC didn't waste all of thier money after all, just imagine how long all the other Q's would be without it

The problem is most of the people due to FastPass are in other lines. If you take FP out of the way your probarely only looking at about a 60 min wait.

I think it would be safe to assume that both parks reached maximum capacity today.

And I must say that this is the longest line for Sindbad I've ever seen. Nearly an hour is very rare, even on peak days in my experience. Good thing the queue was designed to hold many people, as shown by the often unused portion to the left of the attraction.

I was at Disneyland that day and even though it was crowded, I still had a blast.
I had a feeling it was going to be crowded, so I got there at 5am

I was at TDL on Thursday afternoon and there the queue times for the big rides were 100-120 min. long. And I happened to win another lottery ticket for the "parade participation" section of the night Halloween show. I am 6-for-6 this season. Lucky me!

    90 mins for Jolly Trolley?!

I am relieved that I have yet to experience this level of crowds at TDR.

    Re: Parks Busy

I was at TDR today, monday, and it was a national holiday. TDL was packed, but not to capacity. TDS was much more sedated today. However, the weather did play a part in all this since it was raining most of the day today and it finally stopped at around 6pm. In contrast, HKDL was dead yesterday. Kind of strange to go from one extreme to the other.

And you told me the lottery tended to favour out of towners over Annaul Passholders. Looks like the Disney Gods are smiling from above.

    Re: Parks Busy

Those wait times scare me. So are we all in agreement that the crazy crowds were because of the holiday and they'll be gone and busy elsewhere when I'm there early next month?

Hi TomGirl307, while the lines posted in the the pics are quite rare, especially for TDS, its more than likely you will still be waiting over 100 minutes for some of the big E Ticket attractions at TDL during your trip. A tip is to arrive an hour before opening and take advantage of FP. I'm not trying to put you off the trip but prepare you for a worst here. The crowds at TDS should be far more manageable.

Rats. Oh well, though. The bottom line is that I'm getting to visit TDR, period, so there really shouldn't be a downside to that.

Unlike most of you, this will be my very first visit but this forum and all of your advice and input is helping to prepare me for the vast differences between DLR and TDR! Thank you!!

    Re: Parks Busy

Don't fear I'm only setting you up for the worst possible situation here. Despite the often large crowds that show up its still possible to get a lot done on any single day. Since your familiur with DLR it will be interesting to know whay you think of TDR when you get back.
