I think it has something to do with TDR's 25th anniversary. There will be more promotional events than normal, so why not have two ambassadors and split up the duties in order so they can be done more efficiently, seems to be the OLC's line of thinking.

I saw them (albeit from a distance) when they came to the DLR for their Ambassador-training. They seemed quite nice, very "Disney" for lack of a better term. Will TDR be doing like we did for our 50th Anniversary and keeping them in the role for two years?

Also, was this filmed on New Year's Eve/Day? I have just got to ask since they all keep saying Happy New Year, lol.

It's become a New Year's Day tradition. The ceremony was held at Showbase, Tomorrowland at 10:45am on January 1st.

I saw them when they came to Disneyland weeks ago, they were having their Ambassador orientation tour.

RANT about to begin in 3...2...1

The most RIDICULOUS things seem to get said here about WDW and this post seems hateful & personal! TC & Kerri are NOTHING but "poise and class and elegance!"

And Michael and Lowell were without a doubt, the BEST Ambassadors that WDW has had in recent years! Have you even ever met any of these four people you're hoping will get some "class?" Or Asami or Risa, the New Tokyo Disney Ambassadors, for that matter? As someone who knows all of these great Representatives for their Resorts, this comment is nothing short of ludicrous and mean spirited to top it off!

As someone that was unable to succeed at WDW in the 80's because of how you looked or spoke, (I believe that you have made mention of this before) we, including you, should be celebrating how far things have changed. Michael, Lowell, TC and Kerri are not only "poise and class" but are diverse, representative, thoughtful and pure Disney!

Just because we dislike the way that WDW is run by current leadership, (and there's a lot to dislike) doesn't mean that we should say hurtful things about good people not here to defend themselves.
