Hey, just wondering, does anyone have any Pictures of Fantillusion when it played at Tokyo Disneyland?

Hey guys try and get hold of the DVD Sayonara Disney's Fantillusion. It has the parade in full and is shot in various differnt angles. Well worth a look if you want to see how this parade was originally performed at Tokyo Disneyland, before Paris purchased it and cut the units down.

Unfortunately, the parade ended at TDL before I bought a my first digital camera in 2001. The only pictures I have are regular prints and not online. I do have a bunch of video that I shot though, including the final run. You can hear many of the guests crying as Minnie's float disappears backstage by Toontown.

Hey JoeInJpn seeing that this year is the 25th Anniversary at TDL, any plans to add some coverage of past events and shows to your site this year, like the finale performance of Fantaillusion.

And can't believe people were crying, if you love the parade that much just visit Paris. I bet we'll be seeing more tears in April when Dreams on Parade ends.

Believe me, for "sayonara" shows/events, some die-hard guests and even a few performers cry. However, I don't think anyone will be shedding tears when "Cinderellabration" ends in a couple of months. Hehehe.

About the 25th, as part of a special section of the new site, I plan (hope) to have pictures and/or video of past events (even the opening ceremony of TDL). I've been asking veteran guests, ex-CM's, long time OLC friends and performers for media from older events (before 15th Anniversary) that I can put up on my site with a small tribute page. Of course, I had tried to do this project back during the 20th Anniversary events, but you know how lazy I am. Hahahaha.

Yeah..right. I was crying too when I saw how butchered and totally awful DLP's version of the parade really is. So SKIP like a plague.

Commercially-speaking, She-Boo-Reh* has been very successful drawing in guests during the slow season. Merchandise still flies off the shelf in the dead of winter.

She-Boo-Reh* is from a shortened Japanese pronunciation of "Cinderellabration" (shindereraburehshon). This way it "rolls of the tongue" better.

I don't think it's a matter of out-staying it's welcome, but more of "time to change to something new". To be honest, I watched Cinderellabration a couple of weeks ago and I still love the show. Plus, the Lights of Romance are still stunning to watch after all these years..

I can only hope what ever replaces she-boo-reh* ends up being a worthy replacement. As I fear it may be the last major Castle show TDL ever stages if recent events are a sign.
