    Train times?

Does anyone know, roughly, when the trains start and stop coming to the resort area? I'm just wondering, if we want to see the fish market or have dinner in central Tokyo, what our window of opportunity would be. It would suck to miss the last one and have to spend the night sleeping on the sidewalk next to Hachiko.

    Re: Train times?

It depends on which way you are going.

If you're heading to Tokyo from Maihama Station, the last train departs at 12:32 a.m., and the first train departs at 5:13 a.m..

If you're heading to Soga from Maihama Station, the last train departs at 12:49 a.m., and the first train departs at 5:11 a.m..

For your situation, departing from Tokyo Station, the last train departs at 12:33 a.m., and the first train departs at 4:55 a.m..

Here are the links to the Train Schedules (in Japanese):

From Tokyo Station heading towards Soga (Weekdays)
From Tokyo Station heading towards Soga (Saturdays and Holidays)
From Maihama Station heading towards Tokyo (Weekdays)
From Maihama Station heading towards Tokyo (Saturdays and Holidays)
From Maihama Station heading towards Soga (Weekdays)
From Maihama Station heading towards Soga (Saturdays and Holidays)

Another resource is JR East's Hyperdia.

It's a timetable search facility that will plan a journey from 1 station to another pretty much anywhere in Japan, it will even plan a journey including flights if you want it to.

For Tokyo, here's a transfer guide one from Tokyo Metro which is pretty good too. It gives you lots of different options, not just the quickest. Though it doesn't have a timetable.
