Disney Sea 5th Anniversary Book

Just received my copy of it. I ordered it through Amazon Japan.
The photos are amazing, not much text, but worth it.
(I did post of few pictures on my blog.) There are lots of pictures I hadn't seen, really focusing on the small details that seem to be everywhere.
Makes me want to visit even more now. Wow!

I never thought there could be a park that would equal the beauty of the Magic Kingdom in Paris, but it is right there in Tokyo.
Maybe one day...

Mark, which book exactly are you talking about? Is it a blue and white cover with a picture of the entrance to Mermaid Lagoon?

Yes.. many of us have known this little fact since TDS opened... ..and many still believe we are kidding when we refer to TDS as the most lavishly themed of all Disney parks.

BTW.. in case anyone cares, they are still selling copies of this book in the Maruzen bookstore in Ikspiari. Do not recall if they still sell them at the parks.

Also Mark, make sure you get the new "Tokyo Disney Resort DREAM" book. Costs about $39 and like the TDS book, has little or no text and stunning photography from all around TDR. Plus a region 2, 15 mins bonus dvd program called "The Colors of TDR".

Big fan of amazon.co.jp at the moment. I got a couple of guidebooks when I was in Tokyo, and also Disney Fan magazine. Have been hitting amazon since I got back (shipping is a bit lively, but shh, don't tell the other half)

Have got some back issues and also a few editions of My Tokyo Disney Resort. I'm reading the food one they had (issue 51) I so wish I'd seen this before I went, could have planned a little better that's for sure. Rather than getting stuck in a 40 minute line for pizza in Toontown, the slowest fast food ever!! Could have been more adventurous elsewhere. By the way I do not have a clue what the Japanese text says, I'm in it for the pictures.

It was while I was in my Toontown line of endlessness that I saw people with their Japanese guidebooks. Which gave me the idea to pick one up. It's interesting to see the different sort of information they have in comparison to what a US WDW book might have.

I shall be looking out for the TDL special.
