That stroller was attached to a stanchion pole. Can't someone just pull the pole out, making the lock pointless?

Went to TDS today because it was sunny and bought the other Springtime Carnival special cocktail at Magellan's Lounge!

    Re: Some June pictures

Those little things they do (such as event cocktails and special menus) to add charm and fun to any given event is what separate TDR apart from the rest of the Disney resorts. I wish the clueless folks out at WDW would learn from this.

Well.. you can thank Fastpass for creating those epic 3 hr wait times at TDL. If there was no fastpass and everyone waited the same time, the lines would be about 1:15 for most popular rides on very crowded days.
But my advise to you is to get there early and start using Fastpass right way to maximize the time you spend at the park. A little planning will avoid you a lot of aggraviation.

Or else.. there is always HKDL where crowds are always minimal.

ichigopara - That cocktail looks so pretty and yummy, what was in it? (The one from Magellan's)

disneythaitown - Don't worry about the crowds. It may well be busy, but if you listen to the tips from the other posters on the board, you will still get to see and do all that you want.

    Re: Some June pictures

Thanks much..nice pics, and cute kid! I shall hopefully make it to TDR some day, but the crowds are the one aspect I'm definitely not looking forward to. As much as I like Disney rides I don't think I would ever intentionally wait two hours for one. If I wait an hour for some of the older rides that are 10 - 15 minutes long like Pirates, Mansion, or Small World...I exit feeling satisfied...but if I wait an hour for other rides (like most recent ones) that are 2 - 4 mins long, I rarely feel that way, even it is a good ride. I wish they would make more rides in the 10 minute range these days. I guess I will have to have my Fastpass skills in top gear if I make it to TDR.

You will be there for the last day of Tanabata right? I think you will be fine actually! I didn't realize that that saturday was the last day for a 1000yen off ticket for people living in the area, that's why it was so crowded! Today was the first day of Tanabata and the crowds were much more normal so if monday is anything like today it will not be bad at all.

Great pictures- makes me miss being there too. I can't wait to get back there in a few months.

I'd love to visit for the summer events- but it's waay too hot for me. My friend visited twice in August and just roasted the entire trip- it was in the high 90's just about every day.

    Re: Some June pictures

    hahaha, i love your pictures!
i loved primavera, it was so nice.
the costumes were amazing, the performers were amazing.
everything amazing and so much fun!
everyone should see it if they visit the disney sea during that time of year.

hahahaha, sorry about the crowds but it looks like you still had fun.

when i was looking through your thread and saw the pictures of your son...he seemed familiar...
and then i remembered that i had seen before...
    on youtube!
hahahaha, i remember uploading some of my tokyo disney videos online and then somehow after watching a bunch of different videos i ended up watching the video of khai being afraid of disney sea, hahaha, i felt so bad for him. you should bring him to the disneyland resort one day.

all your videos and photos are so nice and make me want to visit japan again. i miss it.

and thanks for all your comments on my unfinished trip report.
