'LOST' 5 - spoilers ahead, again

Damon said that Hurley's the only person who can see the dead. Do you know why?
They haven't told me anything like that. So I guess Christian Shephard doesn't count, because Jack keeps seeing him everywhere? I guess I see everybody else. We should do something then with Miles where Hurley can see the dead people and Miles can hear them, and they can have these weird discussions with the dead. I thought that Hurley being the one seeing the cabin was a pretty cool thing, and kind of reinforced the connection Hurley had to the Island that we wondered about the first time that we saw the lottery numbers appear on the hatch door.

^^What about Locke? He has seen/spoken with Christian, Claire, Horrace, Boone and Mr. Eko (I believe).
For sure, he spoke with Christian in the cabin, who Darlton has stated is dead.

Remember the opening sequence to this years season premiere?

I was so busy trying to figure out "who" the person was I totally fogot about the significance of the record player until later Daniel explained to Sawyer that they were "skipping" in time as if on an old record player.

Which brings up a point I made nearly a year ago on the Season 4 Lost thread:

That's why I am leaning away from an actual split in the timeline and more towards time being like an old LP on a record player......remember early in season one when the whispers said "it'll come back around"?

No problem. I was sort of tooting my own horn as well with that caption. Last season, people were wondering if Hurley were crazy, and I proposed that it was nothing more than he had the ability to talk with the dead. Turns out, that's what it is, so yay!
Anywho, more to read. This isn't as light and fluffy as we've read in the past, just to warn you.

It's LOSTDAY!!!!!!!! And its ON!!!!!!!!!

First, love how they did the opening. It just happens in a way that you don't know who its about, where it is or when it is for that matter. But I do kind of like how Desmond's now a daddy (obviously it was going to happen).

Also loved how Desmond told his child about the island... but then he said it was 'Great Britain.'

That is one impressive bomb. Daniel's face when he saw it was priceless (like "crap... how am I gonna diffuse that?")

Now what exactly is the connection between Faraday, Theresa & Widmore? Faraday is one of those people whose allegiance I just cannot figure out. Is he a good guy or a bad guy?

Widmore was an OTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and a snotty one at that). The whole Ben/Widmore debacle I think is going to start coming into focus now that we know that knowledge. Now Locke just has to show Richard that blasted compass.

The scene between Desmond & Widmore was also great.

So are they in the future or the past now?

Didn't so much mind the ending. They built up a little relationship between Daniel & Charlotte.... but if Charlotte dies I really won't care that much. As long as everyone else is safe.

And things are really starting to come together now. Richard visited Locke because Locke told him to. How great is that?

Great episode again Darlton (+cast & crew). Can't wait for the rest of this season!
