I thought this episode was kind of weak. I hate Derek. That guy's such a tool! And meredith is whiny as ever.

I really enjoyed the scene with Izzy and Alex at the end. It made me get all

And I'm so happy to see Hot Army Doc come back to give Cristina the hot storyline she so richly deserves.

Yeah, this episode was kinda blah for me too. Sweeps are coming up though, so it will probably get good quick.

I love the Chief-James Pickens Jr. I loved him on Roseanne, the X-files and any other show he's been on. As he gets older he gets hotter!!!

Big news this morning that spoils current/future storylines, so read at your own risk:

Spoiler

Looks like Brooke Smith/Dr. Hahn will be looking for a new job. They are abruptly ending the current storyline between her and Dr. Torres. This Thursday is said to be Dr. Hahn's final appearance on the show. I have no problem with changing the direction of the story, and I have no problem with cutting characters (there are so many now that some don't get the time they deserve), but this all just seems very sudden and sloppy. According the reports I've read thus far she doesn't even get a proper send off, she just won't be there anymore after this week's episode.

As a result of this change, they are also rewriting the new character that's coming to the show soon. The new intern character who has a history with Meredith was originally written as bisexual and meant to potentially come between Callie and Erica.

So, will we be getting a new cardio surgeon or just focusing all storylines on existing characters? Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Wow! What a change! I didn't really like what they were doing with that character anyhow. It didn't seem right on that show.

I get annoyed how the residents don't teach the interns anything. It kinda ticks me off.

I'm glad they address, at least to some extent, the narcissism of all the residents. I loved when new hot military doc told off Yang.

I think she's either dreaming it all or has some chemical imbalance that no one is noticing. I also considered the possibility of her being dead but there have been too many RL interactions for that to not be true.

I don't care, I'm just glad Denny's back.

Yeah, I'm really confused about where they're going with the whole Denny thing. I haven't minded when they've used his ghost sparingly in the past, but what they're doing now just seems like too much to me. The way he kept saying "I'm here for you" has me thinking perhaps she's sick, something serious and potentially life threatening that she doesn't yet know about, and he's here to help her get through it. Not sure I like it though.

I agree, i thought once she burn his sweater that he would be gone. Now seeing next week preveiw, i guess we get at least 1 more week of Denny.
