Amazing Race 13 - Page 2

We just watched last night, and I totally agree ... MANY boneheads this season. Have they not ever seen the show??? Read your clues, see what the other teams are doing.

I think I like the geeks best. And the nice comment they made after coming in 2nd that if coming in 1st helped the seperated husband and wife fix their marriage, it was worth it. That was cool of them.

Oh yeah ...

Does anybody else think the Amazing Race people (Producers) had anything to do with getting a bigger plane??? I've never heard of this happening.

I have heard of them holding back seats on flights, as often as overbooking. I think that the "bigger plane" was just them releasing a block of seats that they were holding back. There is no way they'd get a different plane, it would take time and make the flight late. I mean seriously, at very least they'd have to move all the luggage they'd already loaded...

Well, they have called a plane back that had already left the gate, so it wouldn't surprise me. idk though.

We missed the show this past Sunday... I find it odd that you can't download an episode on Itunes nor can you catch it on Comcast "on demand". Very odd. I'm sad that the two geeks are gone.

My roommate and I were yelling at them as they were riding in that taxi. Get out, get out, get out!!!

When the teams were riding those scary bikes, we just knew somebody was going to biff it. I'm not sorry it was that one girl. And how annoying were they when they were about to get to the Pit Stop. Blech!

I'm so sad the geeks left. I was really hoping it was a non-elimination leg. I really have no idea who I'm going to root for now. I don't really like any of the other teams all that much. Maybe Aja and Ty, but it seems they get into it next week.

30 minute penalty, isn't it usually 15???

Sometimes watching Amazing Race, it gets a tad predictable, even when they try to edit it in such a way to suggest it's closer than it is... last night actually felt close and it was a surprise who made it and who didn't. I thought they pulled that off well.

As a side note. So... sometimes in a relationship we get too busy to do the little things that keep it fun... You've heard of "drinking games" like, watching the Wizard of Oz and everytime the witch shows up you take a drink? Well, last night the wife and I played a kissing game of my own creation. While watching Amazing Race, any time they showed someone going through a door, we kissed.

It was a fun way to watch the show... hehehe

Awww how sweet. I liked how Phil's dad wanted to get in some southern belle kissing at the end.

I never noticed that Phil had any sort of N.Z. accent, until watching him while he was IN N.Z. Funny how it just seemed to come out a lot more in last nights episode.

Not sure I could have done that fast forward, holy cow!
