Stupid ABC!!

I read that not only are they canceling Pushing Daisies but also Eli Stone and Dirty, Sexy Money. Finally some original shows are on but studio execs cancel them.

They didn't have the audience numbers to continue to support their production and advertising costs.

Yell out the window at everyone you see driving by or pass in the mall - they didn't watch them, they're to blame.

its too bad I can't watch these shows because of my work schedule is 12pm to 9pm all the time and I don't watch tv that much as well.

I honestly can't remember the last time I watched ABC on a regular basis (except over the summer watching Wipeout). The only network TV shows I watch these days are all on CBS, with the exception of 24. Ironically they all air on the same night too.

I tried to watch Dirty Sexy Money. The others didn't interest me at all to even try.

Then, for right or wrong, you just haven't been paying much attention - to this forum, among other things. These shows, and their apparent cancellation, have been the subject of a pretty good deal of discussion.

Sadly, shows that are really clever and original (like Daisies) don't stand much of a chance with American network TV viewers. Guess they're all just waiting for the next hit show on BBC America, because that's where all the "original" hit ideas seem to come from on the US networks these days.

Well, not "Technically" BBC America, but it put it in my head, even though the show is on HBO

Just got Belle hooked on Little Britain the other night. I have seen many of the Little Britain USA episodes, but not the original series. They are crazy funny!!!

I watched the very first episiode and it didn't grab me at all. Now, pushg daisies....I'm STILL waiting to see that! Hopefully it will be on over here soon

We get TONS of british stuff over here. I, for the most part, don't like their stuff, but that may be because I have been subjected to that all my life...... on the buses, mind your language, Dr Who (since the 60s), love thy neighbour, dad';s army.... I used to LOVE the Kenny Everett show, the goodies (soooo funny!) and the young ones

OTOH, ABC picked up "Scrubs" from NBC. Good work!

I stop watching ABC since they killed of TGIF Friday night fun comedies. Idiots for taking out TGIF.

The only thing I will now be watching on ABC is Ugly Betty. I'm still mad about Pushing Daisies. This week's episode is up against a whole bunch of specials on the other networks. It'll probably be at the bottom of the ratings again, not that it matters anymore

Seriously though, I didn’t get into Dirty Sexy Money or Eli Stone, but Pushing Daisies was good from what little I saw. The point is, regardless of how much I personally got to watch them, they were different, (in my opinion) high brow entertainment. But, seeing as ABC’s recently started interjecting into actual storylines (like axing the lesbian storyline on Grey’s), and now this…I’d say there’s something go on. Knowing Disney/ABC there’s probably new management in some department with something to prove, but I digress.

I'm mad at ABC for cancelling my show Pushing Daisies!! It was original and quirky-- I had a good feeling after watching it.... I now lost interest in Desp HW and Grey's...not sure if I'll still watch Ugly Betty...I'm so sick of the reality shows!!! Funny thing when I was at DL on Sunday, had my Pushing Daisies tote and a CM noticed it, claims he is so mad about it but can't express his opinion though--ha ha cuz ABC and Disney
