Re: The "What TV show did you just see?" thread

Just finished watching the first 7 episodes (disc 1) of Zorro Season 1 from the Walt Disney Treasures sets that came out on Tuesday. Great show! I think, of all the actors that have portrayed Zorro, Guy Williams tops the list.

Re: The "What TV show did you just see?" thread

Supernatural- Great episode as always. Loved the Knight Rider thing.

V: the mini series- Watched it on Syfy over the weekend and thougth it was good, but should had have more action.

V: The Final Battle- Better than the first mini series. It was fun and entertaining for it's time. Characters developed more in this mini series.

V: The TV show 84-85- Wasn't that good like the mini series.

V: 2009- Better than the 80s' TV show by a long shot.

Heroes- becoming even stupider.

The Big Bang Theory- Great for a comedy. Flying kites come on.

Re: The "What TV show did you just see?" thread

I just finished watching a Seth McFarlane dominated line up on FOX. Family Guy, Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show, another Family Guy and then Cleveland Brown Show.

The first Family Guy was funny, especially with the Patrick Swayzee movie shout outs and it being dedicated to Swayzee, but the second one was the funniest. Evil Monkey not turning out to be so evil and the funny jabs they took at Disney. Did you know Hannah Montana is actually a robot created by Disney Imagineers... LOL how do they come up with this stuff? The Seth and Alex Comedy Show was also funny. I like how they plugged the Sherlock Holmes and Ninja Assasin trailers but used them as commercials and it was wierd and funny to see the Family Guy character voices used without the characters. The Cleveland Brown show though wasn't quite as funny. I really don't see it lasting more then 1 or 2 seasons.

Watched all 8 episodes on Disc 2 of Zorro: The Complete First Season (Walt Disney Treasures Wave IX). Great show, really enjoying it.

Catching up on the first episodes of The Academy - Orange County Fire. I started a separate thread - so far it seems not many others around here have seen it. I like it alot, just as I did the first Academy - LA County Sherriff's Department.

Re: The "What TV show did you just see?" thread

Family Guy- Two all-new episodes yesterday. Both were freaky funny!
The Cleveland Show- It was an okay episode but could have been funnier.
Heroes- It's getting better and we still don't know anything new about the Carnival freaks.
The Big Bang Theory- Great! First time I saw that comic shop and was amazed. I love the fight about Penny's ex-boyfriend going to sleep on her couch in her apartment.

Re: The "What TV show did you just see?" thread

I've reached disc 2 of ZORRO: the complete first season. I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I am but the fact that I'm going through it all is definitely telling. This show is waaay before my time and it's fun. Kudos to the Disney team!

(and since this is my first post in this thread, I also watch The Simpsons, Family Guy, Cleveland Show, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, SNL, Community, and The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, and The IT Crowd)

Re: The "What TV show did you just see?" thread

Caught up now with the first three episodes of "The Academy - Orange County Fire", and watched another of my "guilty pleasures" - Tabitha's Hair Salon Takeover.

She's about as close to a female equivalent to Gordon Ramsay with his Kitchen Nightmares as you can get. Not quite so much swearing.

Sadly we gave up on Heroes 1/2 way through last season. Still had them all recorded, and started recording this year. When we got 10 episodes behind we figured we wouldn't watch. Sad too, the show was so awesome.
