Anosmia sounds like a nasal disorder. One that can be corrected with Rhinoplasty.

Re: The Big Bang Theory- Season 3 DISCUSSION

Just got to watch the episode tonight, and I got to admit this was probably one of the better ones. Wolowitz being hooked up with that girl will be interesting, and Raj and Sheldon playing Card Games with Wil Wheaton? One word:

"WHEATONN!!!!!!!!!!!"

Re: The Big Bang Theory- Season 3 DISCUSSION

I thought it was hilarious as well. I am liking how they are expanding the group dynamic this season and are handling the Leonard/Penny relationship really well. This show seems to be getting funnier and funnier (wish that was the case for "How I Met Your Mother").

Re: The Big Bang Theory- Season 3 DISCUSSION

I loved how the common ground was a hatred of over-protective mothers. I HOPE they have the "dinner dates" in the episode! Initially I thought the card game was "Magic" and it took a few minutes to explain to my wife what that game is and how I know about it (sorry... sometimes I'm too nerdy I guess).

I noticed a while back that some Tv shows seem to run on a hit/miss cycle where every other show appears to be the "good" one. I hope Big Bang doesn't follow this.

Re: The Big Bang Theory- Season 3 DISCUSSION

Honestly, so far every show has been a good one. Some make me laugh intensely almost continuously, some a bit less often. But it's still by far the best comedy on tv. I appreciate the writing on 30 Rock, but I don't have nearly as much fun watching it (when I remember to)

WHEATONNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From hell's heart I stab at thee! :-)

Re: The Big Bang Theory- Season 3 DISCUSSION

I just watched it right now, and I got to admit I was extremely disappointed by this episode. It wasn't as funny as the others were, and I got to admit some of the jokes were a little stale.

I agree Rocker. After last week's hilariously funny episode, this one fell totally flat for me.

Hopefully the funny comes back next week.

I was just coming in to post the same thing. It was good, but not "Big Bang Theory" good.

I do have to admit that the "Cylon Toast" was pretty awesome.

Re: The Big Bang Theory- Season 3 DISCUSSION

I think the thing that bugged me about this episode was the party Penny threw. It just seemed to contrived to me.

Re: The Big Bang Theory- Season 3 DISCUSSION

I just finished watching it, and after last week's episode, this week's episode was SO much better. I find it interesting that we are starting to see Sheldon's emotions a little bit and how troubled he really is. But that doesn't mean it isn't funny...because it was.

My favorite scene is the end when they Leonard and Penny find Sheldon over at the Comics shop. My favorite line:

PENNY: Buy the robot for him.
LEONARD: Ah, no, Penny! He'll buy it and then it'll end up with the rest of his junk.
PENNY: Buy the robot for him, Leonard.
SHELDON: May I have this comic book too?
PENNY: You certainly may.

(Sheldon runs away happily).

They were like a husband and wife fighting, and Sheldon is thier kid.

Re: The Big Bang Theory- Season 3 DISCUSSION

My favorite line was:

"He's not crying for that reason, he's crying because you gave him the name Sheldon!"

Great episode, loved the banter and Sheldon's breakdowns.

Re: The Big Bang Theory- Season 3 DISCUSSION

This is one of the few shows that I will set aside time to watch. There are plenty of shows that I will watch "if it's on and I'm not busy" but I actually make time for this one!

I love how everyone was fighting in the episode... you got the same basic concept (Sheldon hates fighting) but done in 3 different ways that really explained 4 different characters and their respective relationships... the "I'm not going home" fight made me crack up!
