Re: The Office- Season 6

I don't watch The Office much, but we all watched it tonight.

Spoiler
The Dance - somehow, I knew that was going to happen. Too funny, but kinda weird.
Michael - well....cringe-worthy. I feel for these people sometimes.

Re: The Office- Season 6

What a fabulous episode

Spoiler
At first I didn't like the dance, but when I realized Jim and Pam didn't either, it was all right lol

I knew they were getting married on the boat, and really liked how it was a montage thing over the rest of the wedding, with the music. It was perfect that they could do that then appreciate their crazy office mates more.

Dwight at the rehearsal dinner with the kids was hilarious.

I had tears in my eyes!!

Re: The Office- Season 6

Let's give props to the people who did this at their wedding that was used in the Office. Can you imagine this being used on THE OFFICE? I'd be thrilled beyond belief!

Spoiler

I loved the episode! LOVED it. I actually cried (I am so emotional) when I saw the clips of them marrying on the boat. So sweet. And, I just love this love story! And, when she did the "mental" picture after he said what he said about waiting for years for his wife. Oh goodness. Tears! This was not a disappointment to me, I thought it was great!

So, who thinks Michael is going to hook up with Pam's mom?

I also loved the part at the end where Pam put her head on Jim's shoulder... It was reminsicent of the time in the interview where she fell asleep on his shoulder.

Ep 5: Mafia
Spoiler
This episode had some hilarious moments in it. My fav. parts include Kevin doing attempting to do sit-ups in Jim's office. Andy blowing up the lady's engine. And Jim 'breaking up' on the phone call with Michael.

Next week's episode is named 'The Lover'. Synopsis: "Michael's got a new love interest and does his best to keep her identity a secret." Hmm...could her last name be Beesly?

Re: The Office- Season 6

I thought it was pretty lame. I didn't like the Kevin storyline, at least the credit card part. The mafia oe was dumb too but at least it was dumb and not mean spirited like the Kevin storyline.

The actress playing Pam's mom is Linda Purl. At one time she was married to Desi Arnaz Jr. Anyway, on her web site it says she signed on for several episodes so, yes I think it is

I had a feeling this was going to happen! Too cute! Can't wait to see Pam and Jim's reaction. (Geez, I talk like I KNOW them and they are REAL people! haha!) So, sue me!

Re: The Office- Season 6

Totally unrelated to current episodes, but I got a kick out of something while rewatching season 5's "New Boss." Charles mentions having previously worked at Saticoy Steel a little less than halfway through the episode, which is funny, because the actual studio where they shoot the show is located on Saticoy Street in Van Nuys.

Ep 7: The Lover
Spoiler
Wow....just wow on Pam. I knew going in, that she would react like she did, but she took it to a new level. In my opinion, she wasn't overreacting. There are boundaries, and I think Michael passed them. Good episode overall though. Pam chanting "No more meetings! No more meetings!" with Stanley in the backgroung made me crack up. Also, Toby and Michael hugging? And when Toby couldn't bail Michael out, everything went back to normal.

Can't wait for next week's Halloween episode!!!

Re: The Office- Season 6

I absolutely love The Office. I've kept up with every episode and watched past episodes of seasons 1-4 countless times. I love Michael, Dwight, Jim, Pam, Oscar, Phyllis, Meredith, Creed (eh), Stanley, Toby, Kelly (eh), and Ryan (eh). However, I'm not a huge fan of this season- season 6, or really season 5. While Season 6 has had it's good episodes so far, the show is not the same as it once was. There's no longer that tension between Jim and Pam, Jim doesn't play pranks on Dwight or even Andy really anymore, and the show has gotten a lot more serious. I'm not a big fan of this change. I understand that the show has to progress and not everything can stay the same, but the show has lost most of it's humor that used to derive from the pranks played on Dwight and Michael's gullibility.

Does anyone else know where I'm coming from and agree the The Office's previous seasons were better?
