Re: Flash Forward

I finally got around to watching the first two episodes. I like the show so far, though I agree they are trying too hard not to loose people. I'm a big fan of LOST and I know that has always been a complaint about that show ... People not sure what is going on. I can only hope less repetition, and just produce a few recap episodes for those who can't keep up to sprinkle in during the season.

Question on tonight's show...

Spoiler
I missed the part with the AA guy and his ex wife... did they find the daughter's body in the grave? Did the DNA match?

Re: Flash Forward

I just watched Flash Forward, and now they added more storylines. For instance:

Spoiler
While at a hearing in D.C, we discover Mark's memory was fuzzy because he had been drinking. They get funding because by using the mosaic, Weddeck used the President's flashforward of his adulterous relationship with another woman for not getting him on his cabinet.

Re: Flash Forward

I really am enjoying the show.... it really give you something to think about.

As for action there was a lot of shooting in the last one at the end..... someone doesn't want Mosaic to work.

Re: Flash Forward

This show is good, but it is getting way too confusing.

Re: Flash Forward

I just watched it, and now it is getting better. They revealed a crime organization, and they are about to get even better with some of the relationships of the characters.

Re: Flash Forward

I agree. Some very interesting plot points thrown in this week.

BTW, I ordered the book that the series is based on, just to see how well the series follows it.

Re: Flash Forward

Just finished the book. I'll put the synopsis in spoilers:

Spoiler
The main character in the book is Lloyd Simcoe (the man that Mark's wife has an affair with in the show). He works at CERN, where the Large Hadron Collider is located. The Flashforward is caused by a collision of two nuclei inside of the LHC. The plot of the book is that Lloyd and his partner Theo (presumably Dominic Monaghan's character Simon in the TV show) trying to put together what caused the Flashforward.

Sounds complicated, eh? That's why I'm glad the series hasn't followed the book so far as I can tell other than Lloyd's name.

If anyone wants the book, I'd be glad to send it to you. Just shoot me a PM.

Re: Flash Forward

I think this was the best episode by far. Such a poignant, emotional episode, especially the end.

Re: Flash Forward

I agree yoyo. It seems like every new episode makes the series better and better.

Spoiler
I was sad to see Al go. I remember the actor who played him, Lee Thompson Young, from the Disney Channel years ago.

Re: Flash Forward

Ugh why couldn't the ugly one die? Such a good ep, though, very interesting developments!! So many other futures are changed now.

Re: Flash Forward

There are going to be some problems I think:

Spoiler
If Al died, and Cecilia still dies, it all would have been for nothing.
