Mmmmm... PIE!

Gotta say I loved the show too, but I'm worried about our narrator stating exactly how long everyone has been alive at every given moment. Here and there is OK, but not necessary for every character that comes into the story.

Re: Pushing Daisies

you know what i like about this show aside from kristen chenoweth?..it's stylish use of color, very bright colors to compliment a show with a kind of depressing theme

Re: Pushing Daisies

Well, my husband didn't hate it!! Believe me, that is a GOOOOOD sign! He is picky about TV shows. I was shocked, I expected him to hate it and fall asleep. He tried to pretend he wasn't interested and was playing his guitar during the show, but I was watching him and he kept stopping playing and watching intently when something interesting was happening! Then he would look at me and start playing again. Dork. And he admitted it was "pretty good." YAY!

Re: Pushing Daisies

Last night while watching the repeat I thought I recognized Aunt Vivian. Finally it dawned on me that she played Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors. What made it happen for me was that lispy voice she has. I particularly liked her solo "Somewhere That's Green" in that movie.

She also played Sylar's unfortunate mother in an episode of Heroes.

Re: Pushing Daisies

Skipped to the end here. Sorry if this hasn't been asked yet. I love the show and am going to watch it again tomorrow.

My only problem is, how does Ned get Chuck out of the grave? One would think he would have to help pull her out. I forgot to watch the repeat episode so if there is something I missed can someone clue me in?

Re: Pushing Daisies

He went to the gravesite where two guys were just starting to put dirt over the coffin. He had set their truck on fire and they ran off - he just knelt down and lifted the coffin lid and helped her out.
