Re: Pushing Daisies

What a visually beautiful show. I loved the retro cars juxtaposed with a brand new black Prius at the graveyard. The houses, the furniture, the set is so dressed and beautiful. I'll watch it for that alone.

Not sure I'm loving Chi McBride yet....but when he came back with a "Bitch! I was in proximity!" we cracked up so hard!

I'm curious to see how it goes. And any chance to see Kristen Chenoweth is a pleasure.

Re: Pushing Daisies

Tonight is the 2nd good night on t.v. Visually the show is like candy, but I am afraid it's not got to stay good plot wise.

Though I'd give this thread a little extra life by adding a poll.

Re: Pushing Daisies

I love all of the characters in this show and how they interact with one another. I also hope that the writing stays fresh and innovative. Definitely one of the better shows being offered this season.

Re: Pushing Daisies

I absolutely loved last weeks episode. Tonight started a little slow for me and about 20 minutes into it I was worried that the Pie-lot episode was just a fluke, fortunately it then picked up and I enjoyed the second half of the show. I loved that Kristen got to sing tonight.

Re: Pushing Daisies

I really liked the show tonight. I thought it was neat we got to go back to Ned as a child in that boarding school. I taped the show and then re-watched it and so picked up on several little things that I had missed the first time through which were clues to that girl's eating disorder. I also thought it was very clever how they worked it in that Kristin could sing. And the way they did the different camera angles looking down on her with the dog and the man waxing the floors. Good stuff. Also that Dandelion car was a riot.

Re: Pushing Daisies

Most def one of my top shows of the fall. I really really like it. Its got such great characters and a good story. ANd I thought that his enhancements to the car were adorable. Just so he could hold her hand. SOOOOOO CUTE!!!

Re: Pushing Daisies

I didn't think the 2nd show was as good as the first. It was "ok", but I thought some parts were too "corny". Hoping the 3rd will be better.

Re: Pushing Daisies

I think this show is great. It is so different than what else is on. I love the sillyness and the creativeness of it. I don't think it was as good as the first episode but still real cute. I hope it sticks around. I really look forward to it.

Re: Pushing Daisies

From the voting, it looks like I'm in the minority, but the only new show I liked less than this one was Carpoolers.
