I guess I'm desensitized to that stuff, because it didn't really shock me as much. But it was surprising they showed it on, seeing as its network TV and all. Though it was kind of disappointing, I liked that guy a lot.

I did not see the very ending of tonight's episode coming. And Papa Petrelli is one bad father.

Re: 'HEROES Volume 3' - spoilers ahead

I really liked last night's episode. This season has just been kind of meh for me so far - the overly recycled and reused plot points were kind of wrecking it for me. But last night was really good!

So what's going on with all the decapitated heads now? Is that what Mr. Petrelli does? cause in the flashback (or future, I don't remember) a few weeks ago, Claire and a few others had their heads lopped off???

Re: 'HEROES Volume 3' - spoilers ahead

So let's guess who Noah's mom is! They're such a cute couple in the could be evil, but still you'd want them to live next door to you way (and it helps that in real life Kristen Bell and Zachary Quinto are friends!).

Other than that...eh. Didn't like Milo's wig (it was the wrong color and made his head look weird), the idiot "Flint" is Claire's uncle (I guess everyone has to have an idiot uncle... But in her case she gets the idiot and the homicidal maniac!), and we knew the Petrillis had drama in their lives...But they answered an age old question: how do you get a marriage to last 41 years? Erase one spouse's memory everytime the other messes up!

I liked the pie scene.

Re: 'HEROES Volume 3' - spoilers ahead

I seem to be in the minority. I hated this week's episode. I've been slightly losing interest all season, and this week was by far the most difficult for me to get through without just giving up. They've just made such a mess of this whole concept. I'm sick of time traveling, flashbacking resets. How are we ever supposed to invest ourselves in storylines if they're just going to change them on a whim?

I'm trying to suffer through the end of the current "volume" in the hope that the recent producer departure might mean improvments for volume 4 in the spring. It's getting more and more difficult each week. Watching the show just feels more like a chore than something I get excited about now.

I sincerely hope with the new producer they clean the series up, it's got SUCH potential but I have to agree with Harry, it's really faltering.

I loved this weeks ep - I love backstories - but it seemed like there were a few inconsistencies.
But I have so missed Peter's EMO bangs.

Compared to Claire waking up and looking at herself cut open down the middle, I'm thinking the head thing wasn't so bad. Still....it's really a gory show, isn't it?

As for the writers....I think having Hiro DREAM the entire back story was really chickening out. But it was kind of neat to see elements from the beginning of the show overlap, with Mohinder driving the cab, Claire running into the burning train, etc. But....these writiers are really stretching to try and make everything fit after the fact. I really have to believe they're trying to meet deadlines and just throwing this stuff together haphazardly. Mr. Petrelli is obviously the bad guy du jour, but at this point, who ISN'T?

Loved the episode.

As soon as I saw the train wreck, I knew that was when Claire would show up. But I enjoyed the little things we didn't know. Elle being so involved with Sylar. Claire's Mom thinking she was dead (that explains ALOT), and has still yet to come out. Mohinder picking up HRG in the cab (at least I don't think that happened in season one). And the whole thing to kill Mr. Petrelli.

Very cool stuff. I don't think having it be on Hiro's Dream Walk was a cop-out, it fit with the story. How else could you go back and explain all this stuff???

Yeah I fell asleep in between so only caught Hiro's dream to the past and near the end about Mrs. Petrilli poisoning Mr. Petrilli-- in between was a snooze fest for me

The cab scene was from season one; I think that was when we first saw HRG.

Re: 'HEROES Volume 3' - spoilers ahead

I somewhat enjoyed the episode, it did really fit the way it was being hyped as a way to catch up and it did tie quite a few lose ends.

The ending scene though, when Arthur catches Hiro played too much in the rumor I've heard that they will kill off Hiro in order to fix the time travel problem and complains they've been getting. Which is just stupid, shows can handle time travel well if they are smart. Doctor Who has done it for how many years now? Heroes can pull it off too if the writers are smart and I think Hiro's reluctance to go into the past was a good idea for fixing that.
