'HEROES Volume 3 VILLAINS ' - spoilers ahead

Kristen Bell hopes to return to 'Heroes'

Quote:
Good news for fans of Kristen Bell's deranged Elle Bishop on NBC's Heroes: The actress told EW.com that her reps are working to get her back on the NBC mythology drama next season. "I have made it more than clear that I want to come back and they have made it more than clear that they want me back," she told EW.com while walking the red carpet at the Forgetting Sarah Marshall premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday.

"With the writers strike, it threw everyone for a loop and now they have to work around everyone's schedules. I love that the next season is supposed to be subtitled "Villains." I am thrilled by the idea that my good friend Zach Quinto (Sylar) and I could possibly have scenes together."

And good news! Milo had a little tidbit to share about Heroes: “We’re going into [filming] our third season starting May 1. Back with new episodes in September!”

I think her character was definately the best of the new characters from last season.

Why are they starting to film the new season so early?

'Heroes' to Return With Two-Hour Premiere

Quote:
The season 3 premiere of Heroes will be, rather appropriately, super-sized. NBC will air a three-hour ''event'' on Sept. 15, consisting of a one-hour recap of the previous two seasons, followed by the two-hour season premiere. The third season may also be epic another way: there are rumors that there may be as many as 35 episodes on the schedule. It's likely that at least some of these eps were casualties of the writers' strike, which devastated the current season of the Peacock's sci-fi show: 24 episodes were ordered, but only 11 made it to air.

NBC announces fall premiere dates

"Heroes" to have three-hour return event

By James Hibberd

Quote:
NBC announced its fall series premiere dates including a three-hour event for the return of "Heroes" and an earlier-than-expected premiere for new reality competition series "America's Toughest Jobs."

Following the conclusion of its August presentation of the Summer Olympics from Beijing, NBC will roll out the bulk of its series during the traditional September premiere week or later.

Up first is unscripted series "Toughest Jobs," which has been moved from a previously announced launch date of summer 2009 to premiere on Sept. 12. "Jobs" will air on Friday nights at 8 p.m.

New comedy "Kath & Kim" has been shifted from a previously planned spot following "The Biggest Loser" on Tuesdays and will instead join the Thursday night comedy block beginning Oct. 9. "Kim" will air at 9:30, gaining a lead-in from "The Office."

Other new series premieres include "Knight Rider" (Sept. 24), "My Own Worst Enemy" (Sept. 29) and "Crusoe" (Oct. 17).

"Heroes" -- the highest-rated fall show to not resume its run this spring after the writers strike -- will premiere its third season Sept. 22.

Season 3 of Heroes kicks into overdrive with a new superfast villain: Daphne, or ''The Speedster'' (Brea Grant, best known as Friday Night Lights' brainy Jean).

In Heroes' premiere (Sept. 22, NBC), seen here, she steals ''something Hiro [Masi Oka] needs for his quest.'' But, says Grant, when Hiro stops time, she slows to regular speed. ''It's a Batman-Joker thing. We cancel each other's powers.''

Whoo...I can't wait for Heroes I love that show. Anyways I hope season 3 is better then season 2. We know that season 3 will be about villians. Do we know that more people with powers will be bad instead of good.

She’s back!

Kristen Bell will return to NBC’s Heroes in September as part of a new multiple episode arc, PEOPLE confirms exclusively.

The actress reprises her role as Elle Bishop, an agent of the Company, who harnesses electricity to zap her opponents.

“I’m just happy to be electrocuting people again!” she tells PEOPLE.
Fans can see Bell in the season premiere on Sept. 22.

The actress has also just wrapped the Disney film When In Rome, which will be released next year.
