Michael Bay Working with Universal on Transformers Ride | The California Source
Sounds good to me the ride does not need cool story as much as cool action parts in the ride.

Scene 1: explosions
Scene 2: more explosions
Scene 3: even more explosions
Scene 4: robot heaven
Scene 5: grand finale - did I mention there would be explosions?
Considering his earlier rant, I doubt he's actually working with UC. They probably just paid him to shut up.
As much as I don't like Michael Bay, I really hope he does talk Universal out of cutting out the animatronic robots. If he really is into robotics, I think we can be assured animatronics will be in there. At least we also know there will be plenty of pyrotechnics.
Let's just hope the ride won't lack a stroryline and end up so pointless and random like this:

This is good news. I remember once Universal Announced the TF ride, he was completely against it and very clear about how much he hated the idea. It's good to know he's on board.
I expect to hear "RUN!!!" and a lot of action movie chase sequence music.
I'm pretty sure it will include audio-animatronics.
It doesn't have to be an ENTIRE AA. We could be high up in skyscrapers and there could be a set with half of one of the Transformers hanging on. Imagine the old King Kong...
I really hope this attraction turns out well! At this point, I'm really jealous that Univeral Florida has Spiderman and Harry Potter (and I'm not into the Harry Potter movies, but think it looks like at phenomenal land), and all Universal Hollywood is getting is Transformers ~ out of those three Transformers comes in at about 17th place on my list, as far as appeal. Spiderman and HP are just much more intriguing.
Spider-Man is a great ride, but Transformers and King Kong at USH are likely to be the state of the art in terms of 3D/4D immersive rides. Even if you prefer superheroes to giant robots and apes, I think it's safe to say that the new attractions will be more technologically advanced.
As for Potter...well, time to start saving for a trip to Orlando, I guess.
P.S.: Freakazoid112, that video was hilarious.
I'm OK with anything that keeps Michael Bay occupied from making movies.
