You're supposed to get one of several "Elite Hunting" business cards.

My friend thinks she was told that it's a way to get a chance to be in the next Hostel movie BUT I already know that Hostel 3 has been filmed and not released yet, so how would they know if they're going to make another one? I don't remember overhearing that in the conversation but I was a good 5 feet away and they were talking low. I got some of the "altercation" on video haha and it basically just ends with them saying "Welcome to Elite Hunting" and then "come back soon" or something of the like after she FINALLY got a card. I really don't know what the hold up was... it was quite strange. I figured it'd be a quick "here's our card" thing but apparently not... maybe other people have a different experience... or maybe there's something else you have to say in order to get the card... I really don't know...
Cool....I'll try that password (unless someone else says its not what you say) but I would not mind a card even...its a cool and free little souvenir

It changes night to night. You have to follow Murdy on Twitter to get the password each night.

The only safe way to make sure you get a ticket and buying from the booth is if you bought it a day ahead of time. Tickets tend to sell out around noon the day of (that was the case last year... it hasn't sold out this year... yet). So as everyone says, I HIGHLY recommend to play it safe and buy them online. Go to halloweenhorrornights.com/carlsjr to get a discounted price.

There's nothing worse than showing up there only to find out it's sold out.
Plus, getting there at 6 to buy tickets would be a bad idea. Sometimes they can take forever or lines are just ridiculous just to buy a ticket. I'd recommend a little bit after 5 to avoid lines, to get a good spot at Opening Scaramonies, and to make sure you're one of the first people down on the lower lot to get through the mazes and rides down there.

Better yet, buy a ticket through the MiceChat event, you get tickets front of the line AND dinner. damn good deal.

And a meet with John Murdy! I wanted to do that as well but then they got rid of the behind the scenes tour, which to me, would've justified the price but it's no longer offered

P.S. Here is the Elite Hunting card you get:
