Universal Studios Hollywood and rain Does anyone know how Universal Studios is regardless of rain? My boyfriend and I recently got free tickets, and the day we plan on going is 60% chance of rain. We haven't been in years, and want to experience everything -even the studio tour. Do rides close? Is our day going to be ruined?Help!
Unfortunately, if it does rain, you won't be able to experience everything.
The rides are open, but Jurassic park closes if they detect lighting or the water overflows.
Waterworld is cancelled due to safety as well.
The good news is that USH does have a rain check program, so they will give you a comp ticket to come back to experience attractions that were closed due to the weather. Plus, you get free hot chocolate! So if it does start raining, you guys can relax and come back again.
dont think Jurassic Park will close since it is supposed to only rain so you are good on that. You will miss waterworld unless there is a pretty long break in the rain long enough to run a show between. also it has to rain a certain time before you can get the rain comp, so check by guest relations to find out if you made it!
