OP has been updated:
1) Name and location of maze 2
Although Universal Studios has one of the largest budgets for their October makeover; Universal Studios Orlando has the most space dedicated towards Mazes & Live Shows (yet Universal Studios Hollywood makes great use of its "Back Lot" Tram area); unfortunately, they've relied on their prior Mazes featuring "Licensed Characters" too many years in a row. It's a shame that Universal doesn't take advantage of their Awesome Classic Monsters History that deserves to be a theme for a Maze (there should be merchandise available featuring their Classic Monsters, because they would make quite a profit of that & it would promote their new Blu-Ray Classic Horror Boxset coming out in October 2012) - Frankenstein - Bride of Frankenstein - Dracula - Wolfman - Creature From The Black Lagoon, they are all worthy of being within a Maze ...
Having said that? I am impressed with their decisions to go with Resident Evil & the Walking Dead (no more 3D Mazes, please - the queue line moves sooooo slow due to 3D Glasses wearing people losing their sense of direction) & I can't wait to hear what else is coming soon. Universal Studios Hallowen Horror Nights isn't meant for kids (I consider this an 18+ event - which Knott's Scary Farm used to be), but there are other options for Families during October ...

Today's audience is not very interested in classic horror. Frankly I enjoy the licensed characters. Plus, the House of Horrors kind of handles the classic horror movies. BTW it's Silent Hill, not Resident Evil.

correction accepted - SILENT HILL - however, there is a HUGE fan base for their Classic Universal Horror (or else there wouldn't be a Blu-ray Multi Disc Boxset coming out in October); yes there is the Museum Exhibit, but a Maze featuring the Classic Monsters would be great (I don't mind Chucky (Childs Play), Micheal Myors (Halloween), Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th) except they were used too many years in a row - last year's Alice Cooper's Maze was the best Universal Hollywood's had in years (my opinion) ...
The best experience I ever had was Universal Studio Orlando's Halloween Horror Night 18 (in 2008) where they borrowed themes from Urban Legends & Myths (the Bloody Mary stunt done on the opening night was fantastic) ...

Cannot wait for this. Convinced my friend to go with me when it's up and she's someone who can totally appreciate these things. It'd be a bonus if we got scared. :P
Just announced Alice Cooper is coming back with Alice Cooper: Goes to Hell 3D
Alice Cooper. Looks like a encore maze to me.

I'm thinking that this maze is Dante. I'm also thinking that its gonna be in the T2 Venue. Some walls are big enough for some hell scenes. Additionally, knowing how much John likes cooper, as do I, he'd try and make the maze as big as possible and then again it was the most popular maze last year too. Lastly, that would explain why Steven's walls are being recycled in the manner they are. Its just a simple retheming. They've just been repainted to be white.
John has just confirmed ACGTH (Alice Cooper: Goes to Hell 3D) will be in the T2 Venue.
