    Re: HHN Hollywood 2012 Reviews

Opening night was an improvement over Employee Preview night. Bill and Ted's was the best so far even beats this years The Hanging at Knott's. For me Texas Chainsaw was my favorite. Of the 3 times I went thru it each time I was scared throughout the entire maze especially the "grave digger". The metal door effect was awesome. The dining room scene was too. It seemed the talent had their timing down and even my husband was scared at one point. Silent Hill was great too even though I don't get "the bunny room" at the end. It is a bit of a letdown. The Walking Dead was MUCH better than preview night. Terror Tram this year is my favorite of the Terror Trams. Alice Cooper has a lot of detail and no matter how many times I go thru it there's always so much to look at and take in. La Llorona this year seems better than last year (maybe because at one point I found a monster staring at me thru the dolls waiting on me to turn the corner). House Of Horrors has the best layover of previous years and is just fun.

After having been to both Universal and Knott's this year I find Knott's to have a lead way with some new mazes, talent and overall feel. Universal is good but they need more mazes, new and innovated ones and limit the number of guests. Think that's why Knott's doesn't seem as bad because the park has more to offer.

    Quick question:

Will the front of the line passes include one for Transformers?

    Not true but okay.

Transformers should be running full capacity by this Friday.

    Re: HHN Hollywood 2012 Reviews

HIGHLY reccomend the VIP RIP tickets. Worth the 179-199 per person.
Valet tickets, free rides and mazes ALL night FOL, free booz [i dont drink]
but get 2 free drinks per person and unlimited waters and sodas, and
the food is actually VERY good, ALL night long they serve food. private
one car tram for 45 min backlot. etc etc
Just sayin, dont know how you can go just once through a maze haha
Second time is always better, since your paying more attention to
mazes detail and not so much looking for actors the second time,
    they get u better

The ride was running below capacity, but not by choice to discourage people from riding as you're implying.

    Re: HHN Hollywood 2012 Reviews

I haven't been to this event since 09, but here's my short review...

La Llorona, Alice Cooper's and the Walking Dead were the best 3 mazes. UMR was fun, but the other 2 mazes (TCM and Silent Hill) were underwhelming. I'm not sure if this has been a consistent problem, but the Terror Tram was bottlenecked all the way through making it 1)not scary at all and 2)pretty pointless since they didn't take full advantage of using the sets as particular settings. I did end up doing everything and I showed up around 6:30 and didn't rush anywhere. Bill and Ted's had some great moments, but didn't seem as overall fun as I remembered. Overall, it was fun.
