I'm still mad that they closed Terminator 3D for Despicable Me. I recently went to Universal Orlando this past summer and got the chance to go on this new attraction and can I say that it is the most boring ride ever, but the HD is pretty impressive.
I am sad to see this great show go. I just wish that they made a new ride or show in this space as opposed to getting another exact copy. I would think that they would want to start something soon to promote up while they bild WWOHP(If WWOHP does happen) Transformers wont last for much longer as a big draw to the parks. I also hope they wont have to take out waterworld soon leaving us with no good live acton show.
RIP Terminator 2:3D
^Potter is happening, construction has already started.
Waterworld won't be going anywhere for at least another 3-5 years. Once Harry Potter is completed, Waterworld will most likely be that lands future expansion pad.
I don't think cloning attractions at USH is too big a deal. It's not like it's a resort destination like it's sister USF. There's only the one park, and even though there are lots of international guests, most of them are there for a California vacation with many other stops. They are just spending a day at Universal. It's not supposed to compete with USF, really, it can't. So, the clones are more appropriate for the bigger local audience the park gets. USH could be considered a regional park, if you ask me. I do think that once Harry Potter opens, it will give it a lot more notice, but it's still only one small park.
Oh, and I'm glad to hear that the fountain at the drop-off area is still there and even got refurbished. I've always liked that old logo, and it's nice that they keep it. I have very fond memories of working at the park, it was one of my favorite jobs ever.
Ryan? What? lol
