News outlets are always calling it a park, but there's nothing Universal can do to stop them. They only control their own press releases. And remember, theme parks are not a mainstream form of entertainment, and most of the people reporting on it don't actually care enough to get their facts straight. Some of them even get IOA's name wrong, including the HP fan sites, who ought to know better since they have an invested interest in this.
