Someone could probably spend the better part of a day just looking at all the little details in this area, which is fairly small itself. They couldn't have crammed anything more into this intimate space. Just look at how crowded it was with barely anyone there.

What exactly are Disney's interactive rides besides Buzz and Toy Story Mania????

Alright already, guys... The interactive Forbidden Journey ride (with it's flight simulating kuka arm) is going to be a thrill a second! Definitely cutting edge and one of a kind. Perhaps the coaster will be more fun than it looks. The theming around it looked pretty cool. More rides will likely be added to the three initial ones later.

Big deal. Huge castle at the end of a narrow old fashioned looking street. I have this nagging feeling I've experienced this somewhere before, but I just can't put my finger on it...

I believe you are thinking of the UK's Church Street.

    Well, that was very dark..

Good pics of the ride vehicles at the attractions magazine website, wizarding world gallery. Page 8.

    They're like personal people boxes.

As much as I appreciate the hard work in editing and posting these videos, I can't imagine anybody in their right mind would choose to watch them if they have any intention of visiting Orlando in the foreseeable future. I'll be there in August for Star Wars Celebration V. Even though that's almost 3 painfully long months away, I still wouldn't dare spoil the magic by watching stuff like the ride and the queues on YouTube.

Once I've returned home, however -- I'll be watching the hell out of these vids.

I haven't watched the Forbidden Journey video yet (and I'm not planning to), so please don't discuss it for me and any others who wish to keep it a secret!

No worries, there's not much visible due to low lighting.

The most interesting bit is that you're strapped in like a inverted coaster type seat - which explains the weight/size limits. That's less spoiler, more useful knowledge.

Um.. i know that.. but since robotic arms aren't common saying the seat is the same as a inverted coaster is what's important.

    Re: Wizarding World Video Tour

Discussion of ride video and reactions I've seen posted around the Internet:

    Spoiler
This really does sound like the Spider-Man ride, but with a Kuka arm instead of the ride vehicle they had. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you, but I hope they keep up the maintenance on the screens and projectors because by the time I finally got to ride Spider-Man (last year), the attraction had aged terribly. That said, this looks like it'll definitely be an awesome attraction, but I don't think it deserves the label of "F-ticket". I still think capacity will be a MAJOR issue for this attraction, though. As for what others have said, one person compared it to Spider-Man directly and said they preferred Spider-Man more while another person said it was reminiscent of a mash-up of Spider-Man and Soarin'.

    Re: Wizarding World Video Tour

    *all opinions based off videos.

Is it just me or doe the streets seem barren? I dont know how to explain it but i agree that i wish there was some more kinetic energy in the streets. Also i was expecting more from the theme and design i feel that its nothing new in which Universal has already done in IOA or Disney in its parks. Olivanders looks amazing with the wands and the shop but the experince? It seemed like nothing to me ring a bell, then nothing happened, then a light and then music. I feel there was to much hype for this shop. Not to mention only one girl got to experince it, i was under the impression everyone was able too.

I wish (nothing agains HP fans) but that the Lost Continent theme was kept i like that theme better then a Snowy Village. felt they could have done more to the land with the money and also the new attraction. Of course all of this is said just based on videos.

On a more positive note it looks great still wish Universal could have kep the Lost Continent them but overall going to make a lot of people happy.

For me too much hype and nothing really new or excitting a good theme job but nothing mind blowing. However for those involved in HP world i feel this is perfect for you.

    Re: Wizarding World Video Tour

    Spoiler
I just watched the rideon and i have to say that im going to have to experince it myself because what i can see im very dissapointed in Universal. I really wanted more i know im not being thrown or feeling the movement but why must it be done in Screens like a movie theater! Really disappointing. It seems like nothing more then Spiderman on steroids. Sorry to those im upsetting but this is my honest opinion. I hope im wrong and the onride experince is more. But from that video its nothing but watchina movie on a moveable robotic arm.
