Macy's Day Parade at Universal Orlando and other Christmas Happenings - PHOTO heavy

So after my epic time at Grinchmas at IOA, I enjoyed myself some butter beer, and headed on over to Universal Studios.

December 4th marked the begininning of the Christmas at Universal Orlando. Here is the run down for events at Universal Studios... Holiday Villiage with a real life glass blower, unique eats/treat, Holiday Blues Brothers Show, Holiday stages throughout the park, THE Macy's Holiday Parade, Live musical act (Mannheim Steam Roller)! Sooo much to see and do.

One of thing I really liked, was UO had the parade performers out and about in the park all afternoon, mingling with guests, getting them excited about the parade, and asking for volunteers to hold down the balloons.

Ok here is the glass blower... ooooh... ahhhh... in all honest it was pretty cool. They would make custom pieces for you, and they narrated the entire process.

And now ladies and gentlemen, the Macy's Holiday Parade!!!! But a quick note. This parade is GREAT! A LOT of fun for the entire family. I watched it from a great spot for photos, but the best place to watch it is over by the Mummy because they shoot off Confetti Cannons!!!!! It is raining confetti, the balloons are towering, and it snows!!!!!!!! Pure Christmas MAGIC! Also all the people holding the balloons are day guests. So if you have ever wanted to be a part of the Macy's Day Parade, head on down to Universal Orlando!!! I LOVE LIVING HERE!

A lot of the performers were handing out candy canes to children. It was great because it generated a lot of 1 on 1 interaction with performers and kids. The parents around me seemed to beam with pride when their kids got talked to, and the kids were all jazzed. So +1 UO for great guest expericence

But I can go back until the 2nd to get enjoy the Macy's Day parade as much as I want!!!! Again this was such a great experience and combined with Grinchmas... I feel all holiday-awesome now!

great photos, It definitely adds great value to universal for the holiday and it looks like a lot of fun plus the best part , you dont have pay extra to see the parade or enjoy the holiday atmosphere
