The show is also 100 years of... something something. That number includes everything that is coming out this year. So it's wise to include the current content to remind people that there's a history.. AND a future with Universal.
As for watching it, it's rather disappointing. I was actually WISHING it was more of a rip off of world of color. But at least I think the length is about right. World of Color goes a bit too long.

Saw it live at the preview this was filmed at, and much like the video shows, it is godawful. Ugly in the day, and doesn't do anything to justify that ugliness during the shhow. I don't expect it to last more than a season. Universal montages on DVD previews are more interesting.
I just wish people would stop acting like world of color is the first/only water/effect show....

Wow I sat through that disjointed thing they call a show, it's a darn clip show with fountains stuck to the sides, why put fountains?! Seriously the thing is a bore to look at other then a clip show of whatever Universal had laying around, plus you can't be "carried" into it because there's always that big ugly frame that looks plain awkward and some of the transitions between movies are frankly silly, they go from Ray Charles to Vin Diesel, there's a big gap between both of them, the former was blind piano player and the latter is an action hero. Plus the fireworks frankly look less impressive then the ones in Illuminations, this is pretty sad, they could have brought a really interesting water show to Orlando and instead Orlando gets a clip show with fountains on the side.
Oh well at least it has Morgan Freeman, at least that makes it somewhat interesting.
To me the end of day shows are still the one thing that Disney does better than anyone else in the world. I am glad they're at least trying something, but I don't think they invested too much money into this thing. That said, they are a bit limited. They can't do much with fireworks due to the neighborhood. I really liked their stunt show back when the park opened, but they're not going to do anything that requires actors or stuntmen due to the costs, so I'm not really certain what they can do better.
Well from what it look's and although orlando dosnt get what we will in hollywood, the show is perhaps okay... because the first thing they dont have for woc and only for special things, the fireworks and the impressive storytelling of that to be a kid again and it was good to use the 100 years logos so dont judge but next year a replacement or removal of cinematic spectauctlar could come....
