Seeking advice for a short day at WWOHP/Islands of Adventure...

I will be visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (and the rest of Islands Of Adventure) on Monday May 21. Tickets (and front of line pass already purchased).

Sadly, I just realized the hours are very short this day. Open from 9am till 6pm.

I know that it is a "low attendance" day... so at least there is that. And we have the "Universal Express" ticket.

But I have a plan made up, and I am wondering if anyone would be willing to look it over and tell me if it is reasonable.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
    Dragon Challenge
    Hulk
    Spiderman
    Dr. Doom
    Popeye's Barges
    Dudley's Ripsaw Falls
    Jurrasic Park River ride
    Poseidons Fury

I am hoping that we can accomplish all this (and more), and still have time to do the wand-choosing at Ollivanders... but I know that might be unrealistic. Would also love to eat at Mythos... but again... time...

Any advice on what to expect would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks!

Those hours are actually pretty typical for Universal. Unless you get to the park later in the day, you'll have more than enough time to see everything with Express. Just remember that Express isn't valid for Forbidden Journey.

I've noticed that Mythos wait time is usually quite a bit longer than what they tell you it will be, so maybe you will be able to knock out Poseidon's Fury while you are waiting for Mythos.

    Howdy Pard,

Well, I don't know how much of a rabid Harry Potter fan you are, but you might just wanna consider The Three Broomsticks in beautiful downtown Hogsmeade. I've ate there many, many times and, to be honest, I love it. Chicken and Ribs, Fish and Chips, Shepherd's Pie, Cornish Pasties, and more are on the menu along with the World Famous Butterbeer that you are gonna love.

The schedule you've set looks mighty do-able to me. Have fun!

Onliest thing I would recommend is headin' directly for Hogsmeade soon as you get in the park. Take that little shortcut...head left just after going thru the gate at Suess Landing...it'll get ya thru Suess Landing quicker...

Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail.

I can see the campfires smokin’ at the breaking of the dawn,
I can hear the bronco's neighin', I can hear the cowboys sing,
I'd like to be in Texas for the Round-up in the Spring."
