It mentions in the comment area that it'd be hard to find someone who enjoys Islands of Adventure more than Magic Kingdom... That couldn't be farther from the truth! Go Islands of Adventure!

I still think WDW has a much bigger audience and we still find that most people we come across prefer MK over IOA, but it's great to find people who are the other way.

Well I think it is more of the fact that WDW and Disney have been building a fan community over a longer period of time. I think in 10 years, Universal will have a rival fan community, as the people who visited the parks in their early years mature and become nostalgic for the park similar to how it has happened with Disney.
That's an excellent point.
So, come on Universal fans, let's be more vocal.
I'm already nostalgic, I remember the way Universal was when it first opened. Hanna Barberra, The Alfred Hitckock Experience, Ghostbusters, The Wild Wild West Stunt Show, Back to the Future, the Miami Vice style lagoon stunt show, and JAWS are all just fond memories. I also remember the original Hard Rock Orlando and the Universal Parking Lot Trams.
Do you have photos you could share on here of early visits? i would love to see some vintage photos. pppppplease create a thread where you can share them!Quote:
