A new non-Disney ELECTRICAL PARADE coming soon...

Universal Studios Japan will debut a brand new night time experience for their guests this March 2009... called "Magical Twilight Parade". This is going to be a brand new electrical parade (like those made famous by Disney) featuring Universal Japan's famous characters.. like the Peanut gang, Sesame Street, Hello Kitty, and some of the more popular Universal characters like Woody Woodpecker and many others. They have been very hush hush about this right now, but it's already been announced and you can see artwork for the new parade here in the center section of this page....

USJ has always been the best Universal property and one that emulates Disney in every way (especially following the lead of TDR in nearby Tokyo), and the new parade is yet another way they emulate what Disney does for their guests. I have high expectations for this parade because I have seen what USJ has done with fiber optics and lights before. They currently have the most spectacular christmas tree of any themed park I have visited, and this parade may have the potential to be quite extraordinary.. but that remains to be seen.

Lotte World is AWESOME! Pharaoh's Fury uses a knock off of the Disney EMV and the long ride (6 minutes long) is like if Indiana Jones Adventure and Revenge of the Mummy had a child together. Lots of animatronics, fire and other awesome effects.
